Bridge PWPs?

It's been super super long since one of my villagers requested a bridge PWP, even with the diving/ping trick. I really want the Modern Bridge but I haven't gotten any bridge suggestions since the beginning of the game. :c

Is there anything specific I need to do in order to get them to request me bridge PWPs, or am I just unlucky?

Do you have three bridges built in your town?
If you do, they won't suggest any new bridges unless you have less than that ):

If you have less than three bridges...then you are just unlucky

Woah, really? That's kind of dumb... I do have 3 bridges in my town.

Yeah, I don't know why they decided to do it that way! What if I want to have convenient bridges now but change them later?

I'm glad the bridge design I like the best is the original one, so I was able to build all three just as soon as I could afford them. But it does suck for others that want a different design but have already built their 3 bridges. Just remember, if you demolish your original (1st) bridge and rebuild, it then will count as one of your 30 PWP.
