As title says, usually when working on an amiibo where I'm not sure when I need them, I simply complete 2 tasks and wait for whenever I need them to complete the third. But I've only tried this with one villager at a time. Can you complete 2 tasks for multiple amiibo villagers without the progess of the others resetting?

I believe so. Early on, I just invited the villagers mainly for the DIYs (I have small stack of Amiibo cards). When I eventually wanted to move certain villagers in, I'm pretty sure the previous times they'd visited counted, and I don't think any progress I'd made "cancelled out" or anything once I brought in a different villager.

I'm not 100% sure, though, since I didn't really keep track.

yes you can. I've called different villagers to my island over the course of a week and the progress on each has been saved.

I had even forgotten I called one to visits twice before and then over a month later when I had her come over, she was ready to move in (even though I had done tasks for other amiibo campers in the days prior).

Yep! Also you can do the third task and not invite them to your island. When you scan them in again, it immediately gives you the option of moving them in without having to make anything
