So umm, how do you feel about the themes and badges you can customize on the 3ds screen?

I love the neon green Mario theme, and I organize my games in folders based on consoles, with the pixel console badges.
3DS, NES/SNES, Gameboy/Gameboy Color, eShop, Gameboy Advance, and DSiWare. Goes well with my lime green new 3DS XL.

I don't use any theme at the moment, just have that simple black background, which is quite nice. As
for the badges, I really like those Splatoon blobs, mainly because they fit pretty good with the black
background.

I don't use badge arcade, but I'm drowning in My Nintendo points so I get every theme they put as a reward that I even vaguely care about. Trying to collect the AC seasons, they skipped Winter last year. :(

I like them. I have all the Animal Crossing ones and the one of Rosalina. I get a lot of use out of them as I shuffle around 4-5 at a time based on the seasons. I never got into badges though, the style usually would not be consistent with how I liked.

I'm unsure on what you mean by badges? I've got the pink theme.

There was a freemium application on the 3DS called Badge Arcade. Gameplay consisted of playing arcade crane-like games to acquire badges, the games main collectable. Badges were usually themed around other Nintendo properties, and once collected could be used to apply in the 3DS' HOME Menu. In addition to being decorative, some badges had special functions to them, such as launching applications and were compatible in other software as well. In 2017 it was discontinued though.

Technically, it wasn't discontinued. They just stopped making new badges. You can still earn old badges, but the selection is different each day.
