Zelda Wii U

Not really bothered when it released. I love the Zelda franchise so much, but for me at least, it's got nothing on Pokemon, and doesn't hype me up at all. Whether it does or doesn't come out in 2015 doesn't bother me.

As for the game itself, not too sure on how to feel about. I'm more so gonna hold off opinions until we have a lot more info + a title - which will probably happen at E3 next year. So for now, I'm just going to sit out on it. That said, I do really like how it looks, and the large map looks really nice.

you guys are completely missing the best (expected) thing here

that they're ditching the motion controls combat it seems

that or making it entirely optional

o****

that's true

TBH the time thing, that's interesting that they're bring a specific clock back.

I didn't miss that...I just expected it since the WiiU isn't a console based around motion controls. The Wii games were kind of forced to have motion controls as a primary control method since the Wii was primarily motion controls (though it could be argued that they could have included a 'normal' control method as well)

At most, I expect that motion controls are going to be tied to things like the bow again like with Wind Waker HD...And I'll be turning that option off straight away.

If it is an option I'd turn it on. Probably the only one with this opinion. I just like motion controls. :/

bow is fine with me

tbh bow/grappling hook being motion controlled in WWHD was one of the few times I liked motion controls in Zelda

aside from sniper-accurate shots I had to perform once or twice during the game where I was forced to aim manually with the stick, due to even even a small twitch messing up the shot completely, I actually found gyro aiming suprisingly faster and more efficient

but **** all the other motion controls. especially anything involving the sword and its crappy responsiveness

GCN TP>Wii TP always and forever

This could possibly be the Zelda game I wanted, it looks like it has really great potential and I'm excited to see how it's going to turn out.

For those of you who haven't seen it, GameXplain does an interesting analysis of things in the trailer etc. that I had completely missed.

This gets me excited about the possibilities.
