your towns name and why

Hi everyone I'm very curious to know why you choose the towns name. Just leave a comment with your towns name and why you Chose it so I see everyones wonderful towns name! I'm Saarah of SQville the reason why I chose this as SQ stands for My name and surname (Sorry for Personal information) what's your reason?

My first town was Sweets. Basically I got AC:NL and when I eventually started playing it I was like "uuhhhhHHH TOWN NAME??" and I was eating animal crackers, which were sweet, so I named my town Sweets.

My "new" town is Gallia, which is the name of the country of the beast laguz in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. They were my favorite characters, and I loved watching my brother play the games, so I decided to name my town after the country. My mayor has red bedhead hair like the ruler of the country in the games, and I'm eventually planning on making a second character that will either be in the likeness of the ruler's right hand man or my favorite character.

I didn't want to do something like Hyrule or after a town in Pokemon. I don't care that people do that, but I wanted something a little bit different, and I have yet to find a person with their town named after a FE country. c:

My town name is JenniPho. ><
haha, why? because my real name is Jennifer, and my favorite food is "pho" so I added it together and it became "JenniPho"! haha, very random I know. >< And my friends called me Jennipho for fun so I thought I should use it for my town! :3 bahaha~

and my mayor name is Jennifer, because my real life name is Jennifer! Yep, very creative >:3

Popstar. My brother got to be the mayor, so he picked it. Popstar is the planet Kirby lives on and I'm obsessed with Kirby, so I'm happy he picked that name.

I named my town Milkutea.. ;u; when I got the game I totally forgot I had to come up with a name & it was like 11PM and I just really wanted to start the game. ;_; So I think I just started attempting cute sounding food/drinks I like ;w; I had a habit of always naming characters in games after food, so maybe that's it.. LOL. but then I revisited my AC:WW and realized my town was Pandatea.. Maybe I just like tea a lot huhu. ;u;

My town name is "Kenka". I think it means "quarrel" or argument in Japanese... but anyways, Kenka is the name of this izakaya/bar in the neighbourhood I live in that me and my friends go to a lot. I was really drunk when I made my town (I just came back from Kenka lol) so that was the first name that came to mind.

Hydra — it's from the TV show Lost (it's also a real island of Greece but I didn't base it off of that lol). It isn't the main island, but the smaller one nearby. My first town's name was Valinor from the Lord of the Rings which I liked a lot, but since I named my character Tauriel for my current town I figured I'd throw in something else I'm a fan of

My town's name is CANADA in all caps for some reason that I'm still trying to figure out????????????
I named it CANADA because I have a deep passion for the country of Canada even though I am not Canadian
and I also had some weird ironic trend going with Canada back in July and it just happened that way. I don't know

I named my town Opu.

It's from a video game series (if two games is considered a series) that I love very much.
Opu is a waterfall village on a floating Island called Anuenue. (which means rainbow)
I thought the name was cute and it will remind me of the games I adore.

My town name is Paradise because I bought the game about two weeks after getting back from Paradise, Nevada, which is just outside Vegas :3
