I named my town after Lilycove from the Ruby & Sapphire Pok?mon games. 3rd gen Pok?mon is my favourite gen & Lilycove was definitely my favourite town in the entire game, so I thought it was perfect for an AC town name! ^-^

I named mine Crisylia, as my best friend and I in grade 6 called our country in our country-project that.

Catmandu. It's an inside joke with my brother. If you've ever seen the episode of Malcom in the Middle where Hal builds the giant cat tree/playground, it's from that. I have four cats and we refer to their cat trees as Catmandu (misspelling is intentional).

I named mine 'Nintendo' thinking at the time that it's the most awesome idea ever to name your town after the people that made the game.
There was a bunch of other names I wanted but they were ALL one letter too long.
Would of been cool to name it after a food or flower, even if that is typical of most town names I see on Tumblr.
Also would of liked something more personal to me but I'm just too uncreative to think of anything!

Starlark because...well, I like stars.

I like the name Skylar so I was going to go with that.
But then I thought, Skylar doesn't sound "me", so I went with Skylark.
Then I changed Skylark to Starlark because...I'm obsessed with stars. :3

My town's name is Rotwood.
The mayor's and playable characters' names are in theme with a short story. There's a small village and the ocean in the story. And one of the places the characters stop to talk is by some rotting wood. There's a kid with stuffed animals, so I figured it worked.
