I'm pretty sure that Pietro is up to no good. He literally has a skeleton buried next to his house atm. He's creepy and that's why I love him. 
The rest of my town is a happy little Pleasantville-type of town. So naturally, they'd all be perfect pod people.
So I'm not too clear about the difference between zombies, walking dead and pod people. But I know one of them is not mindless, they can act and talk normal, but with evil motives. That would be my peeps. I'm pretty sure Carmen would be the ringleader on that one, cuz she's the peppiest and smartest. In a horror movie, she'd be the one that would survive everything, then you'd find out in the end that she was the one calling the shots the whole time! Plot twist!
I can see Stitches being the first to go. :c Poor kid. Then Marshal. Then Julian, cuz he's too trusting. Monique cuz she's too self-involved. Muffy and Fuchsia would be in a girl gang of some sort with Carmen as the leader. Sparro would be off by himself, building a shelter, hoarding weapons, and putting war paint on. lol, he's nutty like that. And Merengue. Poor Merengue. She would miss the whole thing, cuz she'd be busy at home just baking or something. She'd come out of the house and be shocked to find what has happened. For her cluelessness, she'll be the last to go. But her death would be some comical thing, since everyone will be thinking "Oh that silly Merengue!" lolol. (You know how they have that one scene in these movies?)
So ya. It would be a cute movie. Very campy. Good times.

I would collect everybody, then throw Luna out into the zombie pile and say ha ha, then make emphasis on how TOm Noom is only safe because I need to finish my house. Then I would use Kapp'N as bait for asking if me and my friend were going on a honey moon. I would then walk my villagers and the living people on main street to Kapp'N's boat, push the zombie Kapp'N out of it and ride it to the island. Where I would catch a bunch of golden stags and use them to lure the zombies into a pit I would dig with pit fall seeds and a shovel.
BTW I would save Moe with all of my life.
If that didn't work, I would need a plan B! So I would send Kody and Teddy to my house (considering them jocks) to grab my modern wood items, and to find the two master swords in my closet (stupid fortunes keep getting me master swords). Then I would give one to Moe and we would start kicking butt. I would have the jocks and Patty to catch any ones getting away, and Rodney, being a hamster, to sneak unnoticed to the museum. And I would have Copper do police like stuff. Then I would have Frita pluck off some of her french fries to feed the Zombies. And send the main street people back. So then Midge would keep watch from the air, and Melba and Harry to warn anybody who didn't know yet (AKA Porter and those random other people like Red- oh wait,t I would just feed Redd to the zombies and steal all his real art, never mind) and keep watch by ground! I would pft Osivlia, burmf a cah, doghtnig whth m nnad moe ed poasinmfiANIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooonioUnccHELPih bweg

I would tie Isabelle to a pole and let her get eaten and I would just escape out of there by throwing a smoke bomb and vanishing.

I'd tell Ankha to do something about it because she's the mummy queen, why not control zombies too?
Skye would be my top priority, go to main street and get everyone from the shops saying I'll save them, and then just use them for bait. Run to the docks, throw Kapp'n off, and go to the island. Stay there for a while, collecting all the food and necessities. Get everyone back on the boat, and ride to a unknown island way out in the ocean and survive there. After a month I take Kody and Kyle with me, leaving Fang to protect everyone else. If there's still zombies, we fight, and using Kody as bait. Go back and just live on the island. Julian, Marshal, Freya, Kyle, Savannah, Ankha, Fang, Lobo, Skye, and I will all be survivors. Kody is gone no matter what.

Ha! I would gather up everyone and we would all run down to the dock. Kappn would fit everyone on his motorboat and we would all travel safely to the island and make a living there until the zombies had left(if they did). Despite not having the favorites of villagers, I wouldn't want to lose anyone because I care deeply about my town! However, I know some certain villagers would "play it smart" and try to protect us... 
Isabelle would come to me with the report- Main Street is already done for. The zombie infestation is moving into town, and Porter can only hold them back with the train gates for so long. We'd split up, warning everyone who we could. I'd keep Walker with me at all times.
We'd gather at Vic's house, because he's close to the beach, and then, like the mighty viking bull he is, he'd take all 16 of us (villagers, me, Isabelle, Reece and Cyrano, Brewster, and Booker. Poor Porter didn't make it) out onto the high seas, searching for a new beginning.
My poor second character would sleep it out and wake up to an empty town.

Anchovy would sleep through it. Mitzi would get her samurai sword and go to town on some zombies. Kid Cat would just run around non stop to confuse them. Fang would grumble at them until they found their common ground, mac and cheese. Peewee is always sick, so he'd be in bed. Pashmina would hopefully get gobbled up. (Yay! Vacancy!) And I, the mayor, would find the coolest zombie and invite him to live in my town, you know, with Pashmina gone and all.
I'd try to keep Rosie and Kyle safe. I have almost all my Dreamies so I'd try to protect them all... but in the chance we can't protect everyone, those two are my top priorities.
Tom Nook is zombie bait, 100%.
Assuming the Main Street is overrun with zombies, I wouldn't try to go anywhere there. Maybe try to help Leif get out, and the Able Sisters as well.

I would keep all my cat villagers safe and through Chops, Egbert, and Penelope into the mob of zombies. I would sell off Julian for bells, I would also get NPC players like Isabelle out of there and we would run up into main street, get my 36 million bells and hide in the secret room in Tom Nooks store thats underneath Lyles desk. There is food and water and a pathway in different towns that are safe and only for emergencies.

Don't look down on me!
All of my neighbors would flood into my big house. Snake and I could go out weekly pick food, grab clothes, and run. When we are all secure in our house, we will sing camp fire songs until all the military takes care of the zombies.
As long as Genji is on town patrol(as he usually is), I think we'd all be safe. Plus, Knox seems like he's well equipped to help Genji out with the zombie killing, and he keeps saying he's the "Shadow Mayor" of the town, so no better time to prove himself than a zombie attack. As for my dear Flurry, luckily she's right next to me so I can keep that little ball of cuteness safe. The only villager I think will be gone is my sweet Beau, he's near the entrance and is all alone up there. By the time Genji and Knox get the word, Beau will be gone.
