One of my wife's birthday presents I got her was a custom Kirby Xbox controller! We now have a Yoshi one, an Emperor Penguin, and a Kirby one to use with our Xbox, Steam Deck and my work laptop.
I bought Cat from Hell from the eShop and I have to say that it’s hilarious what you can do as the cat even though the game is obviously incomplete and has some graphical glitches and this one glitch that causes the game to freeze and shake everything on screen.
most recent was the sequel to citizen sleeper (which I loved!!). I actually haven't touched it yet bc I've been mostly playing animal crossing and reading. but I'm really looking forward to getting into the story. it's a table top inspired scifi game with dice rolling and resource management elements. really fun character designs and art.
I recently bought a game called Spirittea, but haven’t had a chance to play it yet. Apparently, you’re in charge of a run-down bathhouse and trying to rejuvenate it. It has been compared to Stardew Valley
i wish there were more mobile games that did this, where at the end of the game's life, they bundle all the paid content for a reasonable price in case you still want to play or missed out on anything
I ended up buying Baten Kaitos 1 & 2 HD Remaster on the Nintendo eShop almost a week ago, since I noticed it was on sale and I had some eShop funds that could easily cover it. I probably won't get to it for a couple of years because of my backlog, lol, but it is something I want to play at some point. I also pre-ordered the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack just prior to that, since it's cheap enough and, again, I had the eShop funds to easily cover it.
Once Upon A Katamari - it's a great Katamari game, and the first one in a long time that's a completely new game rather than a remake. Just one of those games that's some silly fun to play for a few minutes without having to try too hard on anything. If you haven't played yet, check it out.
