Your luckiest moments in New Leaf

I spotted Pietro in my campsite. And I had space in my village to boot. I'd been trying to look for him in other forums/communities for days. I was absolutely dejected and disappointed. I remember closing the browser and numbly going through the motions of checking my campsite for a character. I had a mini heart attack when I saw the little guy!

Mine would be when the first villager I ever got was a wolf- Whitney. (I never knew you could have wolves till then as I had NEVER seen them and I never used the internet for WW..) She only just recently moved. I don't remember where she went...I know it's not the void though! I got her picture when she moved and my goal was complete, keeping her since I started my town (July OR June) till only two weeks ago. I'm so happy..
I think my luckiest moment in New Leaf was when the town layout I wanted so bad finally popped up. I am very picky about my town layout, because of that it took me many days until I got what I wanted. The river has to have a specific shape, the river pond also has to be at a certain location of the river and the town plaza has to be in the center of the town. I didn't mind how the grass style is, because it was difficult enough to find such a layout. But the fate smiled on me and i also got the grass style I wanted - triangles. 
Mine would be my second town.
I chose a map randomly, and Fauna welcomed my mayor. I thought "Oh cool, she's cute, I guess I'll keep this town then."
The next day, Marshal, my dreamie moved in ;u;
Aaand the day after that, my favorite villager Fang moved in too. I have just received Fang from the kind pengutango in my main town, but he's so cool and I believe two Fangs are better than one Fang >3

When Diva moved in through the void and she moved in the perfect spot without me having to plot reset. I didn't know she was moving in that day. XD
Getting my current map. It's so perfect in every way and it took less than an hour of resetting. It has peaches as the fruit, there aren't any narrow areas that you can't build anything on, it has a private beach, circle grass, Retail near the train station, only three ponds, and I started off with Beau, who I was planning on getting anyway, as well as Coco who I wasn't planning on keeping at first, but ended up loving her, and Kabuki who I was thinking about getting too. I wasn't even specifically resetting for circle grass or the villagers and when I first saw the map I decided to go with it regardless of what fruit it had, but all of that ended up being perfect too.
