Strange glitches in New leaf?

Ok so this an admittedly out of memory account and i do not have any prove for this as it was years ago at this point but i just wanna know if anyone knows of this. But in my time playing i have encounter a few strange things that i just have no place for.
So new leaf was my first animal crossing game so i was like 8 when i got so i didnt know how to tell glitch and gameplay apart. But one day i was playing and i went on the footbridge and jumped into the water, now this isnt weird on its own but i didnt have a swim suit on at the time. i was so ecited cause i didn't know swimming was possible at all (i was a pretty bad player obviously i had a hard time getting over 10000 bells in the game and didnt unlock the museum shop until i picked it up again as teenager spend most of my time talking to my villagers tbh) so imagine my disappointment when i tried again and it didn't work.
also sorta swimming related but another time i was just walking towards the river and my plaer charater just jumped into the river as a kid was exited at first until i realised there was no way to get out and i had to reload without saving.
Also i still have the same town from back then and it never seems to spawn perfect fruits nor the trees without leaves (idk what theire called in the english version i only ever played german so forgive me)

Are these common glitches that can just occur? can they be recreated in some way or another?

When I was playing around a hacked save lately I found that if you do end up in the water somehow (glitch or hack) you can swim without a swimsuit, however once you get out of the water you can't get back in. Interesting how you triggered it without a wet suit!

I know that there were certain glitches (patched out with the welcome amiibo update I believe) that allowed players to glitch into the river... maybe you did one of these by accident? Like, hit a vertex wrong and the collision detection got weird. In that case though the character wouldn't swim, just be walking on top of the water. And I think you would be able to get out by walking (it would push you back to land if you touch the edge of the river). I don't think I've ever seen footage of someone swimming in the river!

it was a release copy of the game (happend to line up with my birthday) so that could definitly be,that its something patched by now. again unfortunatly there is no footage of this particular event cause i was 8, that being said theres gotta be fottage somewher cause ive seen it again in a dream town and that was probably on yt since i didnt get the dreamtowns till like... well idk but it was a few months before nintendo shut down support and i was pissed about that. Maybe its a german/european specific glitch?

huh maybe yeah, i was on the dock at the time so maybe it glitched and thought i was in water but then again it did the jumping in animation.... so maybe its more like it thought thought i had wetsuit on?
