Hi! Welcome to the forum!
Make sure you read the instructions written in my main post and the spoiler below:

Spoiler: Details for Cataloguing

Pick up all items from the same set, then drop them right off inside their dedicated fenced up area.
Once you arrive back home, you can order them at your convenience in the Nook Shopping of your Resident Services' ATM (or the app if you have).
This allows for everyone to have the chance to catalog the same items.
It is highly recommended you come with pockets as empty as possible to avoid mixup during the pick and drop.
Please leave through the airport when you’re done.

If you still need help, let me know once youre on my island, can give you an exemple
