WTF is with this dreamie "proof" crap?

Though I understand it is probably less likely for somebody with "dreamie proof" to re-sell a dreamie it also wouldn't be that hard to add "dreamies" to one's signature just so they would have proof and obtain a villager and then re-sell/ give them away~
Though I'm sure that doesn't really happen considering a lot of people do have signature pictures that require editing and such but that's just one thought~
I personally think it is a bit silly though I kinda understand the logic behind the dreamie proof requests.

If I'm offering the villager, I can ask for whatever I want. I think you should calm down and grow up. If you don't like the terms, get the villager from someone else. No need to whine about it. With an attitude like that, I wouldn't give you a villager with or without proof.

Why don't you learn to read you little priveleged brat? Not everyone has access to a computer and can make a signature. I think you are the one who needs to grow up. LOL

I've never asked for proof all the times I've given away villagers, but I'm guessing ppl do it to ensure that people won't resell villagers they get for free from cycling threads/giveaways (and I've seen that happen here before).

and honestly, if you're too lazy to even put one line in your signature saying "____ is my dreamie", then don't bother posting in giveaways asking for dreamie proofs? I mean there's so many others that don't require it.

If someone wants a DLC of mine, I'm going to ask them for proof that they want it first before ever considering selling it to them. I'd do this especially so that they wouldn't just sell it to other players online. Why should other players get hordes of Bells or TBT Bells off of the very item I gave them in the first place? That would ruin my marketing. That's how ridiculous this sounds.

Why should I have to prove I want a certain villager? If I say he/she is my dreamie, I mean it. Someone said proof is a signature? I use a 3DS to browse/post so I can't add that. Lost so many giveaways because I need stupid "proof"....rediculous

You basically need proof for a dreamie as the person with the dreamie you want doesn't want you to resell them when they gave them to you for free

I think i got that right...

I wouldn't mind providing dreamie proof if I was adopting.

It's not too difficult to incorporate it into my signature, and it would put the other person's mind at ease in the transaction.

It's a courtesy, I think, and if you don't wish to provide it, just try looking for cyclers who don't require it.

OP, I agree. I never understood the whole dreamie proof thing. If you want him, you should be able to enter a giveaway raffle or just a giveaway. Even if he or she is not a dreamie. I personally think it's wrong.
