Winter blues

The drab white snow covers my town and leaves me feeling disgusted. Why does my town look so bland? Why does it look like an ugly mess? Why do my snow covered trees make me want to chop all of them down?

I already destroyed my town in an effort to re-landscape it but now I don't know what to do. It's just so ugly! This time of year always makes me want to re-landscape or restart completely. I've considered playing in a different month but that really bothers me.

Is anyone else like this? I HATE my town in winter. It's like a white void of boring.

It's alright when it's a sunny day. But both of my towns have been full of clouds and snowfalls, and it's so dreary. It was cool at first, since I don't get snow where I live, but now I'm eagerly awaiting spring. At least on the bright side, you can get a ton of snowflakes for ice furniture.

I'm the same way. I feel like flower color scheme also will either make you love or hate your town in the winter. My town looks best with green grass because of the colors of the flowers I use around town. Not a fan of cloudy days in the game either. It makes everything gray and unpleasant.

Winter is my least favorite season. It makes my town dirty for some reason and it doesn't help that it lasts until February.

I love the aurora in the winter, and the snowpeople, but I find that because the colour scheme is so different I have to completely reorganize my flowers. So half of my storage is full of yellow and orange flowers that I'm saving to bring back out in the summer and fall!

On the other hand, I was hating the white flowers in fall, but am ok with them during the winter because they compliment the snowy ground.

Hang in there! Winter is the worst but it's not worth restarted as it will be over soon! Maybe time travel if you hate it so much? I personally dont but i know some do

Ugh, I hate it too. After Toy Day I can't stand looking at my towns covered in snow, winter is so boring and everything seems dead.

The remedy couldn't be any simpler. When you crank up the game, Isabelle gives a greeting followed by the date and time. That's the time to move your calendar *back* to whatever summery month you like. I have 5 towns right now in Spring to late summer. By going back, nothing changes except the weather. Of course, you may be trading snow for rain...

Yeah, I feel you. Now that Toy Day is over, I'm not really loving the snow either. Which is funny bc I was actually really looking forward to it before. You can always TT to a season you like tho.

I wouldn't mind winter if not for the stress I feel about building the frickin' snowmen.

Aesthetically, I don't mind it, but I like the dreary, muddled colours. It's peaceful, for some reason.

I like it for now because of the festivities, but I'm sure within a few weeks I'll get bored of it. Luckily my other town is set in spring so there's a break from the drabness.

Yeah, I totally hate the winters in this game. It's very bland and drab. The worst part is just how much the dirt patches stand out in the snow too. It's not even realistic, because in reality, snow covers everything and doesn't just leave random spots uncovered. So it really just looks...bad. I always consider TTing to spring or summer.

I hate the snow. It ruins the whole town. Why does it take so long to melt though, we don't need to have snow until the end of February

Same. I thought I'd like winter in ACNL since I live in a tropical country and I haven't seen snow in 2 years... but I honestly hate it. My beautiful dirt paths that I spent months working on all disappeared after 2 days of snow :< Making snow people is almost impossible in my town too because of all the trees and tiny pathways :/ The first day the snow melts is so satisfying, I can't wait ugh
