why cannot i connect with this VIP character amiibo yet??

I tried to scan a kappn amiibo card in happy home designer but it said I cannot connect with the vip character "yet".. but why is this??!

Have you unlocked the NPC characters in happy home paradise yet? You initially unlock regular amiibo villagers, but only later will unlock the non-villager NPCs like Kapp’n

I haven’t seen that message, but that’s my guess for what it means.

I don’t know how long it takes to unlock off the top of my head but you can probably find it on nookipedia(?)

does anyone have the answer to what I need to accomplish in order to be able to give Kapp a vacation home? I just unlocked two story homes

I just read somewhere that I have to have the roommate feature unlocked and I have designed a house with a roommate once before so idk what the problem is.

one place says you need 15 houses unlocked another says 20

Calm down, its just that you need to do more client job vacation homes in order to unlock the feature where you are allowed to make VIP villager homes. To make more since this is the website I got the information from that shows all of the unlocks, https://www.nintendolife.com/guides...en-do-features-unlock-in-the-new-horizons-dlc

The one you need to get is the one where "Niko will start requesting materials in the box upstairs, and donating the required items will unlock new recipes for counters and pillars."
