I looked in my ATM today, and this is the value of bells I had.

(note: this is not an 'I'm so rich' post)
And you know what 3141593 is if you add in a decimal point?
3.141593
Pi.

The ATM might as well said 'you have pi you nerd'
So, yes! If anyone tells you ACNL isn't 'wholesome' or 'educational', just show them this
!

My brother always called it the "baby game" ;__;
But I learnt a lot about fish and bugs.
Without AC I probably wouldn't know how a rainbow trout would look or where to catch it ^^'

this.. isnt really "educational." just a coincidental amount. a kid playing the game isnt gonna see that and learn "oh this is pi!"
the game itself is educational but that picture you provided really isnt.

I mean I guess it's educational talking about bugs, fish, etc but I wouldn't call it educational.

While Animal Crossing is educational in some ways, this post was just coincidental. Anybody can do this, but not everybody can quickly identify this as pi.

I agree, I think the only educational parts of AC would be the encyclopedias, art descriptions, and maybe the money-managing part of it.

Pi is 3.141592. Sorry bud.

Actually it is. I have seven digits, and the first seven digits are 3.141592. However, as I am only using 7 figures, I look at the 8th digit, to see if the 7th needs rounding. The 8th is 6, meaning that I round the 3.
Sorry Bud.

So you confess! You did do this on purpose!
Lol, back on topic though, sorta... The game is pretty educational. It teaches people who to manage their money in order for them to buy things and pay back loans. You can learn about famous paintings, interesting facts about fish, bugs, and fossils, and
you even get to learn about the stalk market stuff and keeping track of the prices. It's minor things you don't really notice but kind of learn the more you play.

Actually no, it wasn't on purpose. I looked in my account and saw that number. I thought 'hey, isn't that Pi?' checked, and saw that I was 1 bell off. I looked at the numbers again and checked rounding. Whatever though.

note- I'm sorry if I have come off as anything in this thread. It was intended as a 'lol, got pi' as apposed to a big discussion over the educational value of animal crossing games. I'm just gonna go hide over here nowe... *shuffles away into a corner*
