Who's ever told you ACNL isn't educational?

Nobody. :o my close friends either played it themselves or weren't necessarily interested in the game enough to talk about it.

My young niece and nephew learnt a lot from the first animal crossing game. They shared a town and had to agree on what got done. Taught them about money and not to spend it right away. One didn't just harvest all the trees for themselves. They shared.
They were heartbroken when their cousin dropped by and chopped abunch of trees.

Aww that's so cute!
Not the tree chopping though....
When I was on holiday once, I cut down every fruit tree in town. I had no trees for days.

I haven't really learned anything educational from the game. The only thing I learned is that the only time I could tolerate bugs is when they're virtual and can be sold for money. If only you could do that in real life.

I looked in my ATM today, and this is the value of bells I had.

(note: this is not an 'I'm so rich' post)
And you know what 3141593 is if you add in a decimal point?
3.141593
Pi.

The ATM might as well said 'you have pi you nerd'
So, yes! If anyone tells you ACNL isn't 'wholesome' or 'educational', just show them this
!

I lol i do think Animal Crossing is educational but not because of your made up situation. I learnt a lot about both bugs and fish via this game, i really did not know anything of it! But now i do! Also this game makes you prepare for the real world because unless you use trics, you really need to save up to pay off your loan and that way you are not able to buy everything you want. I think to make Animal Crossing even more realistic they should set costs for the electricity you use as mayor. In your house, from the street lights etc. I think that it would feel like your own world where you literally keep to work hard for because you need to pay the electricity!

Wait, actually it's 3.14152926535... etc. etc. (Don't ask why I've memorized it.) So if you were to round it to that decimal place it would end in three!
