Who misses the fireworks?

I REALLY miss the fireworks and REALLY want them to come back, the game is lame without them and they totally need to be added back in. Party Poppers are just boring. Roman Candles and sparklers NEED to come back, what is wrong with Nintendo!!!?!!!

pretty sure they just want to add it when it's actually the new year. idk. maybe they have surprises in store that's why they want us to have them at the same time.

Well in other games in the summer time they had fireworks displays, so that doesnt make since why they would want to wait on publishing it.

The only countries that celebrate the 4th of July are the US and the Philippines. But the Philippines is Republic Day while the US is Independence Day. If it's not included, I'm not going to lose sleep over it. I'd understand, too, since the rest of the world doesn't celebrate Independence Day or Republic Day. Unless there are other holidays that are included in Animal Crossing that not many countries celebrate, then that's kind of strange.

I believe they will probably be added in in ht second summer update. The fireworks were always one of my favorite things in NL so I would be really excited to see theme back in NH as well. And as for there being no events for the 4th of July, it is most likely because first of all ACNH is a worldwide game so many do not celebrate it, and second if they did 4th of July (Independence Day) for the US, they would kind of have to do the same for every other country to make it fair.

I miss it. I remember participating on it and playing around with the fountains and sparklers, that was fun.

They only had party poppers and light sticks for New Years Eve and fireworks once the timer counted down. But no sparklers and other fireworks.

Meeee. I miss basically everything that was in NL and former games. It's like they made a half-finished game and just push dumb updates because "lol u can TT but we hate it lol"

Yeah only the first AC game “celebrated” 4th of July. For that game, that day was the only day other than New Years that you could catch the fireworks I believe. After that game the fireworks show moved to a weekly August event with no mention of 4th of July.

That being said, Explorer’s Day has always coincided with Columbus Day, which IS an American Holiday. While Columbus Day is quickly being replaced or cancelled IRL. Idk if that means it will be in ACNH since it’s not an exact replica of the holiday.

Just a bit of a correction. Here in the Philippines, we really do not celebrate the 4th of July. While yes, it's (historically) the Republic Day, it is not considered a National Holiday. So yeah, no fireworks there.

But anyway, on topic, I also miss the game Fireworks. It's a welcome addition and distraction from our weekly routine.

The only reason why fireworks are related to August in the game is because of Matsuris, that are summer festivals in which the use of fireworks is widely popular. So yeah, I wouldn't worry about them not being in game, we just have to be a little patient til the dates match up (^:

August is fireworks season. I don't know why people are upset over this. Its even hinted in the second update that fireworks will be available in early August. NL had everything out at once so you could TT and get seasonal items easily. I actually like NH approach more. Everyone can experience seasonal events at the same time but thats just what I think.
