Oh! I guess I misunderstood your reply, since I thought we were just agreeing with each other

Or, I guess, agreeing to disagree on whether or not we time travel- but agreeing that there's nothing wrong either way!
Yah, I admit, I find it a tad annoying that you need to put so much effort into it in this game. But, I guess since some events are gonna be timed (again, still not thrilled about it) it makes sense it needs to go by the system clock.
Lol, that makes sense! I've been being careful messing with my ponds since I've heard if you make them too big the game counts them as rivers.
I just don't think I've ever gotten my town "perfect" There's always SOMETHING I can find to do. Even when I felt like there wasn't anything to do in NL... I'd just start over. But, I'm weird, in that I restart games A LOT. Even games with actual plots, I'll get bored and restart. I... I don't actually finish many games

But ACNH feels especially different because I finally realized one day... my town will never be perfect. There will always be something I can improve on or change.
Which is an AWESOME thing, because it means I can always have goals and things to do!
See, that's a big reason I do it. Even without Covid, I spend WAY too much time playing video games, so spending all that time playing one day... eventually, I really do run out of stuff to do

I though tACNH was maybe gonna be different, since I was working leading up to the release, but then -just- before the actual release all the schools in my state closed. So... I've not had a ton to do besides replying to emails (I'm a tutor, not a teacher, I have A TON of respect for how hard they've been working)
(also, I love your avatar- Tangy's one of my favorite villagers!)
