I'm pretty basic and chose Melba just based on looks and design. I've always loved her colour palette, and her facial features are simple and cute! Yuka might be second, I don't talk about her often but I do like her eyes and dark blue fur. :> As for my least favourite, I believe that I would have to go with Alice... Her features just look so eerily human, it's unsettling to me. >< Her nose especially bothers me since it doesn't seem to be a standard koala nose? I'm also just not a fan of villagers with hair (fur tufts are my only exception), so rip Alice you're just not for me.
Melba solos the universe. she was in my NL town and oh my goodness she stayed there for sooo long because id never let her leave. Lyman is my least favorite. he curses me. hes somehow on all of my islands. help
Koala Tier List
This list relative only to Koalas in the game. Note that no koalas currently live in my town, and unless they introduce a new one and it's stunning, I'll probably never choose to have a Koala in any future towns/islands, they're just not to my taste.
S Tier:
-Eugene. For me personally the best koala is Eugene hands down, he's the only koala I would ever even consider having move in to my town/island. The glasses are a great touch and he's a pretty chill dude. A Tier:
-Melba. She has a somewhat boring design, but it's palatable.
-Lyman: Lime green funnyman. At least he stands out in a crowd, even if it's not for the right reasons.
-Yuka: She's pretty cute but something about her is just... off, maybe it's her color scheme. B Tier
-Sydney: Very bully-able face, feeling worse the longer you look at it.
-Ozzie: He's just so... average. Cute name though.
-Gonzo: Too weird to live, too rare to die. C Tier
-Alice: Possibly a skin walker? D Tier
-Canberra: Stalker, avoid.
-Faith: Seriously triggers a primal fear in me.
-Huggy: Deserves her fate.
Oh gawd the koalas....
Okay, so when I played New leaf a lot, I had Lyman. And for a long while I pretty muched crushed with him hard. I loved him so,so much.
Then, when I went to show animal crossing to a friend (shes very finicky with things and thought animal crossing would be best, even though she still doesnt see fishing nice in games either), and when I went on my town; I went to show her Lyman in his house....he was packed up ready to leave. To say I was heartbroken would be an understatement. I felt sooo upset!
I have gotten over him now though, so thinking of him has some bad vibed there XD
Lets see what the other ones are like:
I am sadly not into many of the koalas. I don't mind Melba, Sydney (whom I've had in New Horizons), and Gonzo. Canberra is nice one you try her. At the time I was looking for a certain frog sisterly, and I was low on tickets; so I chose her.
The others are kinda meh and that's without me ever trying them out.
Yuka was designed to be that stuck up character that hates you so yeah. XD
Melba is a cutie patootie so she had to be one of my picks for best, but I also have to support my boy Eugene!! He got into some arguments with my villagers in New Leaf a few times, but seemed a decent fellow overall, and his secret beady eyes are the best thing. He's not a keeper for me but I like to see him doing well on other islands.
The worst koala in my opinion is Ozzie. He's making the creepy moon emoji face and I hate it a lot
Also why is Faith wearing some sort of weird bodysuit...
Going against my normal feelings on this one, but had to make an exception for yuka. I usually really, really dislike snooty villagers. Like, a lot. I'm a peppy/jock type of person. Snooty villagers usually get on my nerves.
But yuka has been on my island for a while, and i guess I've gotten used to her, because I like her a lot better now.
While I tend to dislike both snooty and smug villagers, my exceptions would be yuka and julian. Maybe it's because they have cool styles, lol.
but my favourite is Melba she is just so cute.
