Who are the best (and worst) koala villagers and why? 🐨

I cannot believe Lyman has the fewest votes when he is the best koala in the game omg

Honestly I like all of the koalas but Lyman is the only one who has ever stayed in any of my towns/islands for any period of time. I just never connect with any of them you know.

Eugene is my favorite! I keep giving him new glasses so I can see his eyes, I think it’s so cute when you can see his dopey face.

Melba! I just invited her to my island a little over a week ago. She's so adorable, I love her so much!

Sydney and Yuka are also pretty cute. Alice is sort of cute, but as someone else pointed out, she looks too human. Her mouth makes me uneasy....

Best: Melba and Eugene
I'm not a koala fan but Melba and Eugene are the best designs for me of the bunch. Melba has a lovely natural design to her. She is easily my favourite koala villager. Eugene reminds me of the American 1950's greasers with those sunglasses and jacket.

Worst: Canberra
Those eyes look like they want to punch me in the face.

Time to update my koalas!

BEST: Still stand by what I said about Melba and Eugene, but now I can add Ozzie as well. I like Ozzie better with the striped shirt than with the caveman outfit.

WORST: Still Canberra. Never will set foot on my island.

Best: Lyman, he’s cute and a little buddy and my starter on my second island. And Canberra, I love her, she was on my day 1 island and I might reset to get her again, good memories

The koalas are average. Not the best, but not the worst either. Lyman's my favorite and Alice is my least favorite. There's something about her that looks a little off.. maybe her hair? which is weird because I don't normally mind human hair on villagers.

I chose Sydney. She used to be in my new leaf town lonnnnnnng ago and I adored her sweetness! Close runners up are Melba and Ozzie and Faith as they are just as presh!

My least fav is Canberra as she just creeps me out lol!

I need to update my previous post on this thread since I now have all of the koalas in the game on one island.Faith,Eugene and Alice have really grown on me since I started this koala island but as I stated before I like all of them and I don't think there's a bad one in the bunch.

I absolutely adore koalas in real life... however, I do not like the koalas in Animal Crossing. I don't know why, but just something about their design, and proportions, is just off. They are not aesthetically pleasing at all, and to be honest they kind of go unnoticed in regards to all the other villagers available.

So, as far as the "best" one, I don't have one, since I don't like any of them LOL as far as the "worst".... Canberra... I'm sorry... just something about her eyes and facial expression is just horrendously terrifying.

they all kind of suck lmao. i'm not huge on them in real life - nothing to do with their looks, they're just kind of objectively stupid and annoying animals LOL. they have the smoothest brain, scream horrifically, eat poison on purpose, and are picky about where their poison comes from.

i guess the best one in my opinion would be yuka or alice, yuka because she's blue and alice because she looks the most normal to me. worst is absolutely canberra, she's horrifically ugly and in new leaf she moved in front of a bridge and ruined an entire part of my town so i have a grudge against her ugly self.

I like Faith and Melba! Both of those koalas are really cute to me and have sweet faces. I love Koalas.

Worst koala? Maybe Lyman. He looks creepy and a little sus. Wouldn't want him slinking around my island, stealing my eucalyptus leaves, and causing a bright-green ruckus around town. No sir.

I think Alice is pretty cute! Gonzo's kind of adorable too, in his cranky, grandpa koala kind of way. I like Yuka's design and her name, but I would have loved to have seen her as a sisterly villager.

MELBA!

I loved her catchphrase because she says "toasty". At first I got confused, but then realized it was because of MELBA TOAST. I was super amused by it. Even to this day, any time I see melba toast in the grocery store, I think "TOASTY!"

Least favorite is Faith...wow this must be an old thread? Just noticed she's not even a voting option. Anyways, RNG was not on her side conversationally, so I didn't keep her that long.

I really like the Koalas. They are all adorable. My favorites are Ozzie and Lyman. I started to like Canberra when I had her as a starter on one of my islands.
