where on earth does daisy mae keep all these turnips

i haven't slept in 37 hours and now daisy mae is here and i just bought maybe forty thousand turnips from this child. where are they coming from. how are this many turnips being produced. what does this mythical turnip farm even look like. i need answers. i know i'm asking this of the same game where i, a legal adult, happily accept that i can put thirteen refrigerators in my pocket but i... i don't know.
