Where do you get the most streetpasses?

(I hope I put this in the right forum--I apologize if I got it wrong!)

I'm going to Otakon at the end of the month, and my friend said I should bring my 3DS with ACNL loaded at all times, because I'll get a ton of streetpasses. Sounds good to me, because I love buying interiors from other people's homes! It's like a giant shopping mall.

I'm wondering, are there any other good places to go and get streetpasses? I feel like I rarely get them otherwise.

I usually get them at school. I used to get them all the time everyday in school, but now that we're out, I haven't had any streetpass tags in acnl at all.

I get the most from walking around Best buy on a Saturday afternoon.

I get mine mostly while commuting on the subway in my city, but other good spots can be malls, big libraries, university campuses (or schools, as mentioned), fairs or festivals, and definitely cons!!

On my college's campus, or driving to/from it. Actually, road trips in general are usually good for me.

Barnes and Noble and the mall. I think a lot of the employees play and bring their DSs with them because there's certain players I'll pass every time I stop at certain stores.

Mostly university. Occasionally I'll get streetpasses at work. It's near a busy street ^^ I'm going to bring my 3DS to Otakon as well! Maybe we'll streetpass each other :3

The most Streetpasses I got were at Youmacon last year ^.^; but...I wasn't playing ACNL then :/... I took it to the theaters with me on release night of the second Avengers movie and I got four maybe, counting my best friend who also brought hers :].

i get a surprisingly large amount of streetpasses at school. what's better about that is that i streetpass a lot of the same people every day, so i get a lot of the streetpass items like tweeters and balloons

I just started playing ACNL at the end of the semester (back in April) and brought it to my college and kept it in sleep mode one time; I got one streetpass. I was kinda surprised that I got even one.

I don't. No matter where I go, I just do not get any street passes although to be fair I barely go aywhere. I always take my 3ds wherever I go to get my playcoins but I never get any street passes. I thought there would be more at the city but apparently not.

Let me warn you, bringing your 3DS to any con is a gift and a curse. I brought mine to Comiccon and I had to check it every ten minutes (I get puzzle pieces and the plaza only takes in ten at a time). I filled up my whole showcase the weekend I was there. I still haven't checked it all out.
I take mine to the mall, where I get a lot of streetpasses. Also, a lot at the movies? I got like ten there once.
