well i mean..,.. just not using capital letters or proper punctation isn't rly something that wil make posts unreadable but Alrighty

They're saying like when people talk just in abbreviations like they said: "2day i cbf tbh @ cfm."

I know people on my facebook who talk like that and like I know what TBH is but when a new one comes out I am lost, like it took me so long to find out what smh and stuff meant.

yeah ik and i kind of agree n see what they mean, but like .. not using perfect grammar n spelling n stuff to a certain degree doesnt rly make it a ton harder to understand what the poster means,,, like i think they meant that the worse grammar u have the harder it gets for people to understand (which is true but like!!! not rly when you just dont use capital letters imo like it's not a big deal??)

anyways hi .

True, that's really all I care about, as long as it's legible to me I don't mind it, but if people are just abbreviating every two words or something it's highly illegible and will take me forever to read and respond, I can read your writing perfectly fluidly.

Why would it in this circumstance? I'm talking about people using "lol", not specifically ending a sentence with it...idk

it still goes inside the quotation marks if ur gonna be condescending then at least have reason to be condescending lmao.

Yes, I capitalize and use proper grammar online. I sometimes make exceptions in casual conversation when I'm really tired or sick and don't want to bother with it, but otherwise see no reason to be lazy about it.

I tend to use proper grammar and spelling. Not always though. Sometimes I type in all lowercase letters if I'm in a hurry or I just don't care enough to capitalize stuff

I use a mix I guess, if I'm on a laptop or something I'll capitalize but on my phone I won't. I use abbreviations too much as well lmao

no not at all my grammar is horrible, my spelling is alright but eh like i'll use "aight/b4/wat" every now and then. as for abbreviations im such a mess lmao like i use them so much its obnoxious. i dont think theres a single comment ive left where i didnt use at least one abbreviation tbh lol

likE i wasnt even using lol/lmao/tbh purposely like it just happens idk

hhonestlly same........ like 3 yrs ago i hated using lol, idk, lmao etc but then i started using lol "ironically" n now i cant stop. ive become abbreviation trash

I only use grammar on forums and family texts, aha. I actually don't use it anywhere else; if you saw my twitter it would be incomprehensible.

Depends on who I'm talking to and what we're talking about! With my friends I'll just say "Lmao ****** u suc!!" but on here it's usually "Omg Tysm! I hope we trade again your town was so nice!" If I'm fighting online w/ someone I tend to use a lot of emojis since I just act sarcastic. "Wow u think ur right but *thinking emoji*" Idk!! I use a lot of text slang like omg, lmao, idk and tysm. But no matter who I'm talking to I always use w or with or n for and occasionally. I literally text like a teenage girl but then again I am one

I try to use proper grammar and spelling. I find it looks better and makes more sense. When I tried to read some peoples sentences and there is no commas, I find it hard to read.

I use proper spelling and punctuation. I've been doing it for like 2 years now.
Though, the only time I haven't is when I was writing silly messages on my friend's bulletin board. :P
(And, before I started using proper spelling.)

I usually always do. I occasionally type 'lol' or 'haha' but I try to make it so that it still fits in the sentence well.

Edit: I sometimes add smileys, which occasionally makes it so I don't use proper punctuation :]

I'm an English major and a writer and so it really bothers me when people don't use proper grammar or spelling. By that, basically I just mean knowing the difference between there/they're/their, you're/your, and things like that and not speling liek dis. Ugh. I cringed typing that. But occasionally i'll decide i don't wanna capitalize my i's and just use more slang language like this tbh but i still feel like i care a lot about my grammar. like i'm gonna make sure i use the right words at the right time and stuff. But that only really happens when I'm on my phone; when I'm on my computer or the forums, my grammar is impeccable :)

It's more pleasant to me because I grew up with more books than text messages, but I do use common abbreviations, too.

But I would never talk bad about people who don't because I realize that foreigners and children exist
