I don't on games, like minecraft n stuff or over skype to my friends.

Unless I am obviously messing with someone or use the chat on like Steam or likewise I try to, yes.

I try my best to type with proper grammar/spelling. I accidently mess up pretty often so I double check and edit my mistakes. Although a lot of times I use terms like lol/idk/tbh a lot and use smilies and such.

When communicating with people i'm friends with, I purposefully don't
Rather comedically.
When doing anyhting school-related or when communicating with people I don't quite know, I use proper grammar.

how come isn't correct grammar

- - - Post Merge - - -

in a way saying you cringe at it is rude too so

I didn't say I was correct all the time haha

And ah, alright, I apologise; I didn't mean to sound rude, I just don't like "lol".

It depends on when and where I'm typing...

when to my friends in private chats (or group chats) or when texting, I'll type in abbreviations and such, but with certain parts I'll type with proper english. Like, I'll use perfect grammar or near perfect but it'll all be in abbreviations or shortened.

When typing for important emails, or posting on TBT, I'll usually use proper english. But not always.

Besides using abbreviations like tbh and ftw, I use proper grammar and selling. It kind of annoys me when people don't

Usually
Like I usually type with proper caps and stuff except for when I'm being lazy
or ill leave out apostrophes :^)

It's just my preference, you don't have to be rude about it

But whatever, how come you feel that way?

It was kinda rude how you said "lol makes me cringe" when you know good and well almost everyone on the thread uses that come on you set your self up for that.

It really depends, like often I try to type pretty well and have decent grammar and punctuation because I'm a writer at heart and it's important to me, but other times i'm like jav a blast you turt, finna gimme dat booootay lmango

It's usually dependent on who I am talking to or what I am talking about, it's hard to determine what way I am going to type, but I at least like to make sense to whom I am typing.

Type proper when I can. Most of the time, yes - using proper grammar and punctuation. I think it's manners to do so.

Imagine looking every word up just so to read a post: 2day i cbf tbh @ cfm.

Let's hope the English language doesn't become like that.

Although when playing online games, to make chatting faster I would occasionally use short-hand. But it doesn't have to be rude.
