Only to have villagers repeatedly suggest stuff you never want in your town u_u
Yesterday Bill suggested the Torch, and today Merry suggest the Illuminated Tree. These punks are so stubborn, I swear. I guess the more they suggest the closer I am to getting the pwps I want, though!

I do the diving trick every day when I have to take care of tasks around the house, so I can just go work on something for 5-10 minutes and then see if any villagers ping me. I just trap all the ones outside inside of a cage of holes so they don't move xD It makes me feel a liiittle bad, but eh.
I really wish I could give you the glowing tree one u_u I definitely do not want that!

Haha, I should do that. I used to do that when trying to get villagers to move, and if no one pinged I would TT to the next day, but it is a little time consuming for me.

This is just "Animal Crossing's" way of extending the play life for consumers; to make this yet another drawn-out leg in the race of completing one's town. If the mayor concept is part of the next "Animal Crossing," I hope this gets corrected.

Haha, I should do that. I used to do that when trying to get villagers to move, and if no one pinged I would TT to the next day, but it is a little time consuming for me.

Oh! Someone gave me a really great method for getting them to move out the other day! If someone pings you to move and it's not the villager you want to leave, just make them stay, save and quit, TT 6 days ahead, load up the game, save and quit, and TT 6 days back and someone else should ping you to move! It worked for me really fast to get rid of Peck n_n

And yes, it is very time consuming, which is why I really only do it when I have something else I need to be focusing on (like cleaning). Then I can just clean for 5-10 minutes, come back and check for a pwp, then go back to cleaning for another 5-10 minutes. It's good for me, because I have a hard time focusing on tasks for long periods of time, so having a break every so often keeps me from getting overwhelmed n_n

Yeah, I can understand why they'd have it that way, but it's so much more fun to me to get to landscape and plan things out and work on that overtime versus spending so much play time trying to get suggestions. Maybe if it was just a liiittle more common for them to suggest something, or if there was a certain thing you had to do/complete to trigger it. I dunno! But hopefully it'll be better in the next one!

I really want the entire fairytale stuff, and my first pwp suggestion came from Skye and was the Fairytale clock. So I got super excited about that, and have only been let down since >.<

This just happened to me. I have two Peppy villagers- Merry and Peggy- with the hope that at least ONE of them would give me the fairytale bridge, bell, or metal bench. All I got was a dang glowy tree >.>

Same here. I discovered that saving and quitting/continuing can sometimes make villagers suggest PWPs the next time they see you, but the only requests I got recently were the sandbox and the yield sign...

That's never worked for me They always just want to come to my house, or have me come to their's. Or they want fish u_u

If you want to make sure that they ping you for PWPs, you should empty your pockets and Bells. And agreed, getting requests is pretty hard.

I do! And I fill them with flowers. I only keep my shovel so I can quickly trap them back after I talk to one of them >.< I could probably use my megaphone to find them, but it's much easier to just keep them in one spot x_x

Hmm, that's weird Yeah sometimes it gets annoying because they ping you for catchphrases and such instead of a PWP suggestion.

I guess persistence is key n_n I don't mind TT'ing at all, so I'm kind of just trying to get different suggestions today. Working on it now, actually. Fingers crossed, lol
