What's your method of obtaining dreamies?

title says it all! what way do you obtain your dreamies and why?

i do a lot of campsite resetting myself! it is long, but its easier to find dreamies without them being voided. im making sure to do it less however, since i hear that save data can get corrupted if one resets too much. lol

That's exactly the reason why I don't try to reset my campsite. I would be devastated if my data get corrupted. So I normally get my dreamies from other players, even if it takes sometime to obtain them...

I usually find them on TBT or Tumblr, but sometimes I move-in reset! I prefer to obtain them through trading, though, just because resetting can take so long. ^^"

I've never reset my campsite before, since I'm not that fond of the hassle involved in resetting.

I usually just hope I can get them naturally, or hope if I have a villager to trade, someone will offer me one of my dreamies in exchange. Sometimes, I just get them for free from one of my friends because they just happen to be moving out of their town anyway. I don't go out of my way for them very often, which is probably why I only have four so far, ahaha.

I just hope that the villager will turn up in the camp, though I've never reset it.

I've also been checking the cycling threads, and am so happy to have adopted Frita and Cyrano!

I've never tried campsite resetting although it seems like a good tactic.

I used to have a cycle town (I managed to go thru villagers at a pretty fast rate and find the ones I wanted) but I ended up giving it to my BF so I just get my dreamies on this forum! Most of them moved out since I kinda neglected AC for half a year ;(
I've been pretty lucky with new leaf, 4 of my dreamies have moved into my town on there own.

From other players, and campsite resetting. Though, convincing villagers to move in from the campsite takes 2 days to start plotting. From other players, it only takes 1 day.

I don't really have dreamies. I feel like that closes me off from finding villagers I might otherwise actually enjoy having around. If I did have dreamies that I really really wanted, then I would more than likely get them from others. Idk how much more resetting my poor game can take.

Sometimes I fill my town in with the use of campsite reset. The only decent I got in campsite resetting so far is Chief, the rest are filler. I'd rather play at my own pace ane see if they're going to visit my campsite, like Snake (and Stitches, my old dreamie) suddenly camped in my town without resetting and TT-ing the game.

I camp reset, but I only do it a day after the opening ceremony. Because I have a better chance of campers showing up. Something I could've done in Vista if Avery didn't voided into the town the day of the opening ceremony! >___<

I also run a cycle town, so if a dreamie shows up like Sally and Pecan have. I'll move them to the town I'm looking for them in. At times I will see if other cycle towns have villagers I'm looking for.

Fate. If they move in on their own or they visit the campsite when I have an opening, I know it was meant to be. That's the only way I let anyone into my town.

I usually look for //more like stalk// every thread about giveaway or villagers moving away. Or pages on other websites to see if my dreamies are on there. I eventually got most of my dreamies doing that.
