I'm torn between the blue flower and purple flower variations (both variations have blue and purple flowers actually). The wood of the former looks better on top of the default brick path (which is where I placed it) but the latter reminds me of the Wisteria Trellis PWP in NL with similar looking flowers.
The purple one is really lovely but I might end up using different ones in different seasons. I'm so happy to have a pergola and a gazebo that you can walk through. The wedding bell tower wasn't inspiring to me as a garden feature.
For the longest time, I didn’t realize they were customizable orz
I had the ivy one and for some reason, I thought it had to wait a few days for the flowers to bloom (like bushes when you plant them). Then my husband had the purple one and said he got it like that. WHAT.
Flew to Cyrus and Reese and I got the purple variation because it makes me nostalgic of New Leaf. Though, I might change it like the other user said depending on the season.
It might look out of place of a purple variation in the winter, we’ll see :3
I have the ivy one, and I have some "low level colorblindness" (very common to males) which means I can see certain shades of green as if they were the same (depending on the lighting). It was @Mairen who told me that there were actually more shades of green than I was able to discern, and I saw a colored pergola on her island, so that's how I found out that you can customize it.
I haven’t seen them in game yet, but from (low resolution) pictures I’d probably say the purple is my favorite. I’m also thinking of swapping it up with the seasons so I’ll get to experience them all!
What I’m really liking is that the flowers are actually based on exiting species, not just generic ones. We have ivy, morning glories, wisteria—it’s all very lovely to a plant-lover like me!
I have the orange one that automatically comes with my town, had no idea you could customize them. Might change it later, but for now the orange fits in well with the autumn colors
I'm currently using the ivy one because it feels most realistic for this time of year? Idk. They are all beautiful though. I can't wait to use the purple one.
they’re all lovely, but my favourite variation is a tie between the blue flowers and the white flowers! i’m likely going to be incorporating them into my island design at some point.
