what were your starting-out villagers?

first of all, hey there! i joined here a while back but didn't really post much. i've started up a new town since i won't have much to do this summer, so i thought i'd make my return here! nice to meet you all, i'm lou, and i hope we can be friends! ^^ let me know if i'm doing anything wrong, or what the best times for posting are, as i'm in BST

anyways, in my new town, my starting villagers were Mallary, Tabby, Sterling, Rolf and Nate. The next villager to move in was Maple, and today a plot has appeared for Mitski! I'm not crazy about Rolf or Nate, but considering the terrible luck i've had with starting villagers before, I feel so lucky to have all these ones with designs that i love! i kind of feel like i'm doomed to have really ugly villagers take up the last two slots LOL

my questions for you guys are, what's the best set of villagers you've ever had when starting out in a new town? have you ever started a new town and immediately gotten a dreamy? what's the worst set of villagers you've ever started out with?

i also just remembered that in my first ever town, i had flurry and beau right away~ beginner's luck i guess!

I don't remember with certainty, but I believe my first town was: Hamlet, Apple, Kitt, Alfonso, Annalise. Yeah, that sounds kind of right. Lionel and Flo and maybe Rowan were the next to move in? Or Gala.

I've also had Tex, Nan, Peewee, Bluebear, T-Bone, and Elmer in my town.

The current roster (as of a few days ago, haven't checked in) is: Hamlet, Lionel, Alfonso, Kitt, Apple, Gala, Bluebear, T-Bone, Elmer, and Nan.

Rowan, Peewee, Flo, Tex, and Annalise are lost to the goblins.

back when i first started out with city folk, i had twiggy, monique, rasher, benedict, and pippy. those are all i can remember. i still have the disk with the same town on it too lol.

in wild world,, i got that after city folk, so i knew what i was doing a bit better. i had roscoe, punchy, nan (who i hated with a passion? for some reason?), kabuki, tangy. some of those villagers are still my dreamies now, just because i miss them oof.

in new leaf, i don't remember who all my beginning villagers were,, i had a town back in 2013 with julian and lucky, but i reset and made a new town in 2015. the only beginner villager i remember was keaton, who's still in my town and i love him so much ahh. he will always be my all-time favorite.

i just remembered when i restarted my town, i got chow, who i used to hate when he was in my ww town but he's kinda cute now. i reset again and then i got keaton, and my current town.

I was never really concerned of getting dreamies in my town because I'm satisfied with what I have.

My starters in my first town, Toronto, were Ava, Buck, Octavian, Derwin and I can't remember the last one. I deleted that town weeks later.

My starters in my second town, Lorule, were Celia, Bones, Agent S, Gruff and Tipper. Buck moved in a couple of days later so he's probably stalking me. lol

tabby is still in my town and it's been quite a while, but she pinged me to move today.

i get what you mean!!! i had static in both my first wild world and city folk towns, so i'm dying to get him in my new leaf town.. even though i probably wouldn't be interested in his design at all if it wasn't for nostalgia's sake haha

and oh my goodness, what a cute set of villagers! i actually wasn't crazy about tabby at first, until i found out she was a girl, and that somehow made me love her much more! maybe it's the tomboy appeal

i actually got me a new copy of acnl yesterday and got my fresh start!
so i got roscoe ( the reason i kept the town in the first place. he's one of my dreamies. ), bones, friga, bertha, and frobert!

The town I just created has Knox, Drake, Tammi, Gladys, and Bree! Unfortunately all of them are gonna have to get the boot, but I really do like Knox.

Two of them are penguin villagers, and I believe it’s because I created the new town from the Winter season.
I don’t like the rest of my villagers so I forgot what they are.

I think Aurora Hopper Hans Rory and Greta. Greta used to be my worst enemy. SHE NEVER MOVED OUT. I eventually restarted. For the switch version I am gonna try get or first day and never reset. Because then I guess it's special. I'll also have to try catch all the bugs and fish
