i hate snapchat, tiktok, amd twitter the most. tiktokers have creepy and erratic movements, snapchat is just obnoxiouis and i dont htink it should have been created (i also lowkey distrust anyone who uses it), twitter users = really obtuse people and all the trash from tumblr post-ban, instagram just became too attention seeking/shallow, but not as much as tiktok.
i like tumblr
facebook and youtube i don't even think about
pinterest i'm sure is ok

idk what other social media is popular (i mean i know some but theyre in specific countries, ill just consider it "other").

I don't like Twitter and Facebook because no one can share their opinions. People are limited on there which is stupid because the point of Twitter and Facebook is to share your opinions and talk about stuff. Plus, it is very toxic on there which is why l never made an account and l barely look on there.

Edit: Some reason I didn't mentioned my 3rd vote. I also dislike Tiktok very much.

I hate tiktok because I think it can be a waste of time and its full of misinformation. I like YouTube but I hate that there's so much click bait and boring reaction videos now and I miss the times when there were less youtube videos. I think social media can generally be superficial if you're using it for attention-seeking purposes, but it does connect people so I think it's both good and bad.

I really don’t like Tiktok, Facebook, Tumblr, or Twitter. I only use Snapchat, Instagram, and YouTube. I only have Snapchat to speak to friends. YouTube is where I participate in certain users’ livestreams. I don’t really know why I have an Instagram, but I don’t really use it that much.

Facebook is the absolute worst by far, for me. You can’t even ask a question without getting bashed for your appearance or for your question. People will attack you for anything and everything. It’s just best to answer your own damn question, even on the help pages, just so you don’t get bashed. Don’t forget the people who will literally click on your profile and scroll just to find something two years ago to comment on if you upset them. If your profile picture is you, you’re just ugly and someone will comment on it. If it’s not, someone will comment about you being ugly anyway because your profile picture isn’t you. It’s a toxic platform. I have honestly been a lot happier since deleting that. Everyone is an *******, or at least that’s what I learned from Facebook. Negative ten stars — would not recommend. Forums are a million times better.

twitter is so toxic I can't stand it. your opinion has to be chosen from a small list of politically correct ones or you get cancelled.
This is pretty much everywhere, especially now. Everyone gets so defensive regarding political stances now, it’s almost an identity at this point.

Facebook is full of quite literally the stupidest things/people I’ve ever seen in my life, and that has compounded x1000 with certain recent events. I finally just deleted it because it was making me hate humanity.

I also voted for Twitter, I never use it but I just know in my heart that it’s stupid

this is why I like TBT so much, a small positive community! I love it here :D

My most disliked ones are Tiktok, Snapchat, Twitter and Facebook.

I feel neutral towards Tumblr.

I actively use Youtube, Insta and Pinterest.

I hate Tiktok for the whole overconsumption. Be it physical overconsumption of food and clothes, or that people who have tiktok tend to watch for hours on end because they can’t stop scrolling. I feel bad for the kids that grow up now, constantly comparing themselves to these tiktokers and not being able to simply be a carefree child anymore.

I don’t like Snapchat, I don’t have a reason. It just always rubbed me the wrong way.
I haven’t used Facebook in about a decade. I don’t know anyone my age who does since it has become flooded with boomers.

Twitter is just plain stupid. I never cared for it, I don’t enjoy looking at it, and if I happen to come across it, I feel like collectively the dumbest people on earth have gathered there to tell me their opinions I couldn’t care less about.

Of course YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest can be problematic as well, but I just stay on the superficial entertainment side of it. I mostly watch documentaries and learn videos and use insta and pinterest for references, inspiration and memes.

Personally it's more "dislike" than hate for me but I've chosen for the following platforms;

Youtube: I dislike how corporate it has become compared what it used to be for (by people for people) and the ads, oh god the ads! Still use it everyday though but just dislike the road they're taking

Facebook: I deleted my fb years ago (one of the best decisions I've made personally) so I'm not very current on how it looks right now but from what I understand and read, so many hate, conspiracy and misinformation is spread via fb and recent leaks from the employees have revealed fb doesn't do much to counter them because they need people to argue and keep clicking on their website

Twitter: kinda same reason as for facebook, just so much arguing and hate in recent years

As others already have said, my favourite place to visit these days is this forum because of its positivity!💛

I hate tiktok for a variety of reasons and i wish it was banned worldwide. Twitter would be like the Door to Heaven for me in comparison even if they share some of the same traits. What kind of world do they live in if they think that putting a trigger warning on a video of an autistic person simply STIMMING is helpful and not alienating in the slightest. Sorry bro if u have a neurodevelopmental disorder u might make someone uncomfy :\\\\\\ I wouldnt doubt it if someone trolling turns into something ppl on tiktok genuinely believe because it sure seems like it. There are many more abhorrent harmful garbage takes that get regurgitated around the platform but i would write a whole essay if i continued
Ive always installed snapchat because my friends are on it and then at a later point uninstalled because i hate how it functions and can never get behind it. I also think the bitmojis are ugly.
Facebook i dont like either but ive never used it so my opinion isnt that strong

tiktok actually used to be musical.ly, which everyone shat on. its funny how its so popular now. we need to bring those days back

voted facebook. i haven't actively used it in almost a decade, and i only keep it active because i have some games linked to it for backups and on the unlikely off chance some old highschool friends want to get in touch. my understanding is that it's mostly full of false information and conspiracy theories nowadays. i scrolled through my timeline slightly a few weeks ago, and it's all cringey "relatable" posts ajdkfkglg.

tumblr i like, but i only follow maybe 10 active people so what i see is relatively curated. i've been the target of toxic sides of some fandoms before on there, but the same thing happened on instagram, so it's not exactly tumblr exclusive. i don't post on the latter anymore, and i only reblog on tumblr now, but it's mostly because i'm not in any fandom and all the edits i make are for my ocs, so there's nothing to post. i only keep instagram on my phone because it's the main way i talk to my girlfriend, and there are a couple of art accounts i like to check in on.

youtube i watch everyday. i have some issues with how they handle things, like letting child groomers etc. just chill on there instead of banning their accounts, and all the heavily sexualized ads they have running while they demonetize content creators for dropping the f- word, but i wouldn't say i actively dislike it.

twitter.. i have an account, and i go through the trending page for my country sometimes. i've never actually seen all the mass toxicity and cancel culture that everyone goes on about though. any time i see someone trending because they did something bad, they usually deserve to be "cancelled" or at least called out. (i.e. JKR being a transphobe and arguably a homophobe, our prime minister and government being an absolute trainwreck that should be sacked, james charles allegedly being a predator etc.)

i have a pinterest account. i'm not super active, but i like it. it's good for finding stuff for edits, just having an aesthetic board for OCs or gathering face claims. don't have tiktok. only person i watch on there is kallmekris, but i just check her account periodically -- i don't need to make one for myself. snapchat. don't get the point of it. my limited understanding is that it's mostly about taking pictures, and i'm ugly and don't go anywhere, so it's irrelevant to me lmao.

Snapchat is my absolute least favorite, mainly because people at my school act like texting doesn't exist and Snapchat is the only form of communication. I refuse to download it after several things happening on it and the constant inappropriate pictures sent that I'd prefer not to see thanks. If it means I don't know what's going on drama wise or I'm not in the class wide cheating group chat I honestly don't care.

Other than that, TikTok. I feel like I can't go anywhere anymore without hearing audio from it or seeing someone watching it. I had it at one point cause one of my teachers had the bright idea to make us film a project on it, and I will not be redownloading it. The only reason I would have it would be for art purposes and art is constantly stolen and reposted without credit and TikTok takes centuries to do anything about it.

Bluebird's hell and Cringetopia, alias Twitter and TikTok, are by far the worst creations in terms of social media ever made by humanity. Filled with way too many crybabies and morons who probably walk everyday with a "No fun allowed" shield in their hands around and attack random people because oh no, their opinions are different. Not to mention all the weird, questionable and disgusting stuff you find there, yuck.

the only social media that i dislike is twitter for obvious reasons, my dislike for other social medias vary. tiktokers can be stupid but then some people make really good tiktoks like the art tiktoks. i can’t comment on snapchat because i don’t really know what it is.

I was gonna crap on tiktok until I read some comments on here and was reminded of the crapfest that is Facebook and Twitter.
Twitter is just an abusive mess but Facebook is even more embarrassing because it's typically full of middle aged folk who just fight with each other. Never knew being an empty nester was that boring.

All of them. Social media is destroying everyone mentally, even if they don't realise it. Even someone with a lot of followers and never gets a bad word said to/about them is under constant pressure to maintain that image they present that people like.

Everyone has to do things for an audience now and it's so unhealthy, both for themselves and their followers who believe in the image they present. It's not possible to be yourself if you know you're in front of an audience. People put too much value in the opinions of others instead of accepting themselves with all their flaws that makes them human. Also it's insane to me that people will form their political opinions based on what people they like the best are saying. Scares the crap out of me tbh.

I hope more people start abandoning it .

Twitter, tumblr because tumblrinas are so spilled over to twitter with their politics it's not even fun. At least on insta you can avoid most unless you specifically search em up. I also lowkey dislike tiktok cause the cringe factor but I don't use that so.
