What Shops/NPCs would you like to see return?

HOWEVER Nook expansions with new shops within the Nook Shop would be amazing! Kicks, leif, gracie grace...

The cafe can easily fit in the museum.

I'd love a feature similar to City Folk where you can take the plane to some sort of city or island with a bunch of shops on it! Your old villagers can even show up there too like they did in CF.

My thoughts on paid DLC is that they may treat it something like Pocket Camp. Have something along the lines of ~tickets~ that make gameplay much quicker for a price - but key features such as missing NPCs will be free.

I hope so anyway. I'd rather not turn a £55 game into a £155 game.

I'd be absolutely livid if they introduce any sort of microtransaction to the main game. In my opinion, microtransactions have zero place in a game we already paid $60 for. Especially in a game like Animal Crossing, where the hardest thing is fishing up a Stringfish (which is purely based on rng rather than skill).

If they have to do DLC, large packs of new unique furniture sets for $5-$10 would be more desirable than the other two options.

I think mine might be bizarre, but I'd love to see Lloid's auction house come back. It was a bit dull but I loved the idea - maybe this time we could bid against animal villagers on rarer furniture or something. It could be fun!

I'm so sad Pelly and Phyllis aren't around, they've been such staples since day one so I hope to see them make a prominent return

Gracie is my absolute favorite NPC so I was sad to find out she wasn't returning in this game. I reaaaaally hope they add her back and make her do a partnership with the Ables or something

I'm gonna have to say the dream suite. For this game, islands are going to be much more unique and it would be amazing to just explore other people's town without having to worry about online errors or destroying flowers. Plus I liked to check how many people visited my town in new leaf.

Plus that's free content for the animal crossing YouTubers! Lol

So it seems that Nintendo are keeping very tight lipped about what is yet to come for this game... With data miners finding not very much at all. So it seems like we'll see most NPCs and shops return through DLC (be it paid or free) - so, what characters and shops would you most like to see added throughout the game's life?

This is not a thread to complain about missing features/etc. - as I personally believe the decision the exclude most NPCs has been to avoid data miners/time travellers finding too much out so early on in the game's life. Anyone under the impression that what we have in the game currently is "everything", just take a look at Pocket Camp! They'll continue to service this game regularly, which will be part of the fun for those that aren't aiming to ~complete~ the game (time travellers/cheaters/etc.).

SO. What would you like to see added?

I personally would love to see Gracie return with a high fashion shop, and Phineas' balloon/pinwheel stand would be a pretty cool addition. Oh and of COURSE, Crazy Redd will have to make an appearance at some point!

I watch a YouTuber named TagBackTV and in one of his videos Label asked him to do a fashion check for her like Gracie did in New Leaf. It's possible Label could replace Gracie entirely. We'll have to see what happens on that front too.

In terms of facilities a several, even though one of them might not be doable without rebuilding the game (I'll mark that one with an asterisk) from the ground up:

- The Roost for both drinking coffee and serving the villagers

- Kicks' Shoe Store

- Nook's Homes* for the return of house architecture as well as giving us more house customization options (Digby can take over infrastructure while Nook handles all real estate related things)

- The Happy Home Academy: Island Branch for letting us practice interior decorating just like in Pocket Camp...and "borrow" ideas for our houses

- The Observatory because why not just bring back constellation creation from Wild World? That was fun and it could be a museum upgrade instead of a full new building

- A Fortune Cookie store since they got their start as a non-microtransaction in New Leaf, and bringing them to New Horizons to purchase via bells with NO real world currency being spent would allow for more furniture sets, especially if the cut ones don't come back.

And I think that about covers it. I know that last one is a new facility rather then a returning facility, but I'm adding it anyway.

And to add onto it, the constellations could be seasonal. Viewable in whatever season you drew them in. So you could have four canvases, one for each season.

I want the dream suite back in some form, I don't mind if it isn't a dream suite as long as it has the same function... It feels so weird how much more customization we have for our Islands, yet there is no safe way to share them with the world. I can't stomach the idea of letting people loose on my island just to visit. Even if they have no axes/shovels...

Other than that I miss bushes since I love forest aesthetics, so I would like Leifs shop back. Again, I wouldn't mind if it was inside the Nooklings store and not its own building.. I guess as a worst case scenario I would even take bushes just stocking at Nooklings with no Leif. Leif IS my third favorite NPC though so hoping he gets some kind of feature, be it traveling merchant or not...

It seems he will have something to do with the Earth day update that is later in April. I just hope he isn't only visiting for one day. : (

On a final note I hope Blanca returns next year for April Fools. I guess this year they wanted to get Bunny day out so we didn't get an April Fools event. I just hope she returns eventually.

It would be nice if, when the cafe comes back, retired NPCs (Chip, Nat, Joan) and NPCs whose role in this game was replaced (Rover, Pelly, Phyllis, Pete, Reese, Cyrus, etc. etc.) would come hang out in the cafe and talk.

i would like brewster to run a cafe (as its own shop or in the museum), id like gracie to come back but with only her furniture, i would like katrina to return but maybe as a wandering fortune teller instead, id like luna to return with the dream suite, and id like to kicks to eventually open up a store. i think it would be neat if the rest of the npcs would come to the island as travelers and give u recipes or something, or if they just showed up during events (bug off, fish off, holidays) that would be nice as well.
