What Shops/NPCs would you like to see return?

I desperately miss Leif and his gardening shop! I want him to sell me more flowers and plants! I love Brewster and his gyroids, too. And our Badge Walrus <3 The main reason I want the alpacas to return is so they can help me get the colors of the catalogue items!

totally agree with all this! leif's gardening stuff was one of the best additions imo, and would make a lot of sense for a game touting terraforming as a major feature! mama needs some hedges, nintendo!!
also item customization, i suspect, will be a big add bc we already have colored variations. plus a shop specifically for DIY-ing, where your villagers could come in and work too, maybe you can make larger projects for town development, etc - would just be too cute

I'd like Harriet to return specifically to sell the wigs that are in Pocket Camp because they're SOOO cute. New Horizons does have some cute new hairstyles but I'm bitter that PC still has all the super cute wigs like the side pony and messy bun.

ReTail and Gracie. Basically just some more places to get new furniture. I know we already have the Cranny and crafting but it's still very limited and a lot of the options are not really my taste. I've seen soooooo many designs of people's interiors and like almost 3/4ths of them use the same furniture I.e the Ironwood Set because there simply is just nothing else available in the game.

For function/shops: I really want Cyrus (and Reese) to be added. Here's my idea for him: y'know all those furniture pieces with colour variations that we can't customise? Perfect opportunity for a master craftsman to appear and lend us a hand. Also: Redd and by extension the art collection for the museum.
For NPCs: Pascal and Resetti! They're my favourite NPCs and I miss them. I know Resetti is sorta already in the game but I wanna be able to see him and interact with him like the little activity in New Leaf. Pascal I'll take anything. He could float around the private beach and have absolutely no purpose and I'd be ecstatic.

Also the Brewster Cafe is great and I am sad that is is not in NH
I was even surprized Katrina and Gracie weren't in NH. I thought Katrina, Gracie, and Crazy Redd were all permanent fixtures in the series at this point.​

I didn't even realize how many characters that had been in every AC game so far are missing in NH. Some of them may not have a place in NH due to things being really condensed into a few buildings, but I think Redd, Katrina, and Gracie could definitely have unique roles in NH. The mail couriers may never be in NH.

Also not one person so far has mentioned Kapp'n.
