Splatoon What modes do you wish there was?

Miiverse has quite a few posts with people suggesting modes involving Octolings, since there has been speculation about Octolings being playable. I also remember people hoping for more with 'local'/offline multiplayer, though I do not remember hearing anything specific in mind.

I am curious what other modes people here may have heard of, or if there are modes you have in mind, and want to see added?

Or are you perfectly fine with the modes their currently are? As for me, I certainly do wish there could be more with local multiplayer, though I find the current offering fun, and have nothing particular in mind to add. As for online multiplayer, fine with it as is, but certainly up for any more surprise offerings. I suppose it might be nice to have some kind of official clan system, though it does not really matter to me.

I think there could be a reallly cool mode where your in an arena with 4 or so other people, and it's like a survival team game. There can be waves of octarians trying to invade and you have 10 shared lives. The octarians could come in rounds, and how many points you got depended on how high the round you survived at.

I wish there was a new regular battle mode. I have no good ideas to suggest for it, but I'd like another mode that's more laid back compared to ranked battles.

Well, for Battle Dojo, it would be nice to be able to play 1 on 1 turf wars, splat zones, tower control, and rainmaker matches locally. It's especially useful if you have siblings who also love Splatoon, and it would be nice practice for everyone.

For regular online turf wars, while there is a way to join friends, you can't always know which team you'll be on. So if you want to play together in online turf wars, how about a squad battle option for it?
