Hello, I can’t be bothered to make a Reddit account so figured this would be the next best place to ask 😅

I moved from Canada to Scotland in 2020, meaning my Nintendo account is Canadian. This was fine for awhile until I closed my Canadian bank & PayPal accounts meaning that the only way I could buy games would be asking someone still living over there to get me a gift card. This as you can imagine is very annoying

Considering that I will be living here permanently I want to see about switching my account to a UK one. The issue I have with this is I have been told before by lots of people doing so they lost their games and save files. All of my important games ( Animal Crossing ) are digital, I don’t mind so much having to re- buy the games more so about potentially loosing my save file

Does anyone here have experience with this? Or should I be figuring out a way to contact Nintendo directly

Editing to add, I looked into trying to contact them directly and there seems to be no way to. At least not one easily to the general public
