Being able to craft with items in our storage. We shouldn't have to be holding the items to craft. Same goes for customization when we have kits/pumpkins in storage.
Also being able to see where our villagers are on the map. In New Leaf we at least had the megaphone to find them.

Having a separate storage for flowers, trees bushes and tools. Maybe a nook mile item that looks like a small greenhouse.

5. Have Isabelle remove unwanted villagers to get an empty plot faster
6. Have Tom Nook allow you to remove a plot that is empty to save it for later.
7. Have the villagers visit your home, buy items from their homes, and of course let them say different things.
8. Have a browsing islands in the Dodo airlines to save time by not having to enter the dodo code everytime
9. Get rid of the load Screens. The idea of waiting for someone to arrive and to stop what you're doing is terrible
10. Have new buildings. Like Brewster Cafe.
I wish we could actually take a shower or bath, as someone who grew up going to the beach every summer there’s nothing more gross than having super salty water dried to your skin, even though it’s a game it would be nice if it had that level of realism

-let me reset a villager’s house or buy an item that I don’t want them to have like a bug; also would like their houses to expand and look better than they do now (just look at Gaston’s house )
-more house exterior customization
-let the rep interact with items - like in HHD but more (I don’t want to just to take out a donut out of nowhere when I click on the donut box; I want to eat it or use it as decoration)
-more room on my island to decorate and to have villagers
-let me order posters that i didn’t scan (never going to happen)
-bring back the camping game from NL where I can make a lot of bells if I get a lazy villager and exclusive items we can only get from campers; that game was fun
-let my rep play video games with my villagers

But my BIGGEST wish, incentives! Once you upgrade your house, do some island decorating, get Nooks Cranny and Able sisters. That’s it! There is nothing more to keep you engaged with the game.
One of the biggest quality of life updates I think we would all welcome is redoing how flowers work.
You want to pluck a petal for crafting? Tap A once. Want to take the whole flower out and replant somewhere else? Tap A twice. You can plant the flower without the shovel so why do you need to remove it with the shovel? If they wanted to be that specific, it should only work both ways. Instead the shovel could be used to dig out and kill the flower. And to plant a flower exactly where you want it in case it decides to plant somewhere you didn't intend.
I love your wishlist, especially the social media app to see where your villagers are at.
mine is: Top 4 I want the most:
1. New Leaf furniture
2. Brewster, Post office, Police station, Katrina, Gracie (In short: More buildings! )
3. More islands to explore, especially a tortimer like island where you can connect, chat, fish and play mini games with randos
4. Please!! More room for custom designs. There's too many good ones and not enough space. At least 20 more slots
Not as desperate but would like too:
5. being able to gift villagers when they are sitting down
6. Being able to add patterns in every nook and cranny. Looks weird when you're going for a certain theme like desert or city streets and you see square grass patches that couldn't be covered
7. Being able to mail more than one letter
8. Being able to order more than 5 items
9. Being able to move in amiibo characters without the needless headache
10. Buying more than 5 bulk
11. Phone call villagers to find their location or chat
Cant think of anything else, but I'll add on if I do. This has been on my list since a month after playing NH.

What are you thinking about when you say incentives? Like Phineas and his badges to make a comeback that you can have then displayed on your passport for others to see? We have filling the museum as a pretty big incentive and Nook Mile Achievements (which are kinda like the badges). We have the island rating system so you can get 5 stars. We have the HHA. We even have getting DAL merch.
So, what sort of thing would be an incentive that is different enough from what we have?
more new & old furniture sets & individual furniture (specifically plants i want more plants man)
more wallpaper & flooring (specifically of the Basic variety aka basic paint, basic cloth wall, etc. we have some colors but not all)
more wall furniture & rugs
Brewster's cafe as a building, NOT shoved into the museum
old npcs to return (Kapp'n, Katrina, Dr. Shrunk, etc.)
more crops!! pumpkins r really nice
9 more villagers (we currently have 391 and that bothers me greatly)
Nook's Cranny upgrade(s) (it would be nice if Gracie Grace returned and she became part of the store upgrade, her furniture sets r so gorgeous)
new leaf's fruit to return (mangoes, durians, bananas, etc.), and perhaps perfect fruit as well
some basic QOL changes we've all asked for (crafting from storage being a big one)
