For me, mine's Minecraft Story Mode on the Switch, while I randomly bought a Switch in 2017. Didn't know it was valuable until 2022, when prices for the game rose due to it being a cult classic.

I have NCAA Football 14 which was valuable for the longest time, at least until NCAA Football 25 released. I knew how valuable the former was, so it took me a while to find it. I put so many hours into it, though, I’d say it was worth it.

Hrmm.. I know this is a mainstream answer; but probably ANY of the Pokémon games for the DS. Like SoulSilver or B/W. I sold them before I knew how valuable they truly were and I kind of regret it.. lol
At least whoever purchased them is happy they got those games for an insanely decent price T^T

All of the DS Pokémon games including both HGSS with Pokéwalkers, XY, Omega Ruby, and the Gen 7 Pokémon games, and Indivisible. Indivisible I got at my local Best Buy for $20 and I tried it out but couldn’t get into it. But then I saw online how rare and valuable the physical copy of the game was and so I kept it only for that reason. I also have Pokémon Ruby and FRLG.

My Pokémon DS games. Specifically Pokémon Heart Gold. I haven't sold it but I lent it to a friend who never returned it and who I'm not in touch with anymore. I still have the empty packaging of the game cartridge taunting me. To buy the game again I'd have to spend twice the amount I originally paid or more. Ugh

I had a copy of Pokemon Emerald as a kid and gosh I really wish I held onto it and took better care of it.

I do have a copy of Pokemon White that I got for a decent price at a mall in 2018.

I had Emerald and bought it used back in 2006 but then it was basically stolen by my abuser along with my DS Lite and other games and she refused to give them back to me because she didn’t want me to entertain myself and play the games unless I “earned” the privilege to play them. I lost my Pikachu colored Pichu and Draco Meteor Jirachi because of her plus my first copy of Soul Silver with the Lugia figure that was given out as a preorder gift. I had to use Action Replay to unlock the special Routes my lost Event Pokémon would have given.

Finally, a fellow owner of the Switch game I said, I also have Story Mode Season 2 to complete the duology

earthbound. you literally Cannot get it through the virtual console for the 3DS because the 3DS eshop died a long while ago. if you didn’t get it, you’d have to get the game physically, which, well… the price for it can go for prices like this, so you’d best be lucky if you want a physical copy.
…‘course, if you want it digitally, you could just get it with the switch’s SNES emulator.

the most value game that i have monetary-wise is also minecraft story mode but for PC; i got it as a christmas gift in 2016/2017 but i only played it once because i didn’t have an actual computer. the highest price for it on ebay from what i saw is for $94 dollars.

then i have animal crossing: population growing! for the gamecube. i'm unsure if it's a legitimate copy since i bought it from a reseller on amazon but i spent $80 on it, majority of ebay prices for this game reflect the same price i paid on amazon.

finally, i have animal crossing: wild world. i think i paid $22 for it used from gamestop, unsure about the exact price i paid because this was a long time ago (2018). i still consider it valuable because it isn't in production anymore.

That's CIB, I feel it's incredibly difficult to get than even loose copies because not only they are cardboard, it's bigger than other SNES boxes and so they are thrown out more

Cubivore:Survival of the Fittest-- I still have this game but a couple of years ago I found out that prices for it have skyrocketed.Prices range from $350(U.S.) for a used copy in good condition to $4,000 for a brand new sealed copy.My copy is complete with the case and manual and the disc is in good shape but it would still be on the lower end of the scale.

I don’t know about direct value and what it’s actually worth, but as far as value I’ve gotten from games I’d say Minecraft in general. I got infdev for like 6 bucks I think, it was the best ROI on a game i’ve ever bought.

Super Mario 3D All Stars.
I got it back in 2020, but I barely played it. I quickly got bored of it. It’s sitting on my shelf of switch games in its game case. I haven’t touched it in months. But I wanna keep it for collection’s sake. :P

Since the game had a limited window for purchasing, I imagine it goes for a lot of money nowadays. But idk, cuz I haven’t checked the price.

HOLY HYLIA. The game goes for roughly $100 bucks. Wowzers.

But I still don’t wanna sell it. :P

I got 3D All Stars too for collection purposes and it's a cool game to shelf

Not now, but old Pokémon titles (Gameboy through DS). I sold them off fairly cheap when trying to fund my masters degree.

My Pokemon game collection for GBA and DS for sure.

I've got:

Pokemon FireRed for GBA
Pokemon Sapphire for GBA
Pokemon Platinum
Pokemon SoulSilver
Pokemon Black
Pokemon White 2
