I have left my country once by flying to the USA!
When I fly again I hope my destination is South America because I'd love to experience simple living on beaches. As much as I would love to tour Europe, SA will be my next stop. I can feel it!

Say you have an upcoming departure, what continent is your final destination?
Or what if,
you have never traveled outside home country before, where would be your first stop?

I kinda wanna go to Antarctica. I bet the stars would be insane, and the penguins would be cute... Africa would be my second choice I think.
💯
I completely agree! A good portion of the earth is Antarctica and I would love to tour that area however possible. Maybe helicopter? Dog sled? I don't even know. It looks near Africa which much mean Africa has a colder area most South. strange to think because North America's South is considered the hottest. Very interesting!

I'd like to go to Asia first. Japan, China, Thailand, and Indonesia all seem like fun places to go to. Ideally my Japanese would be good enough to get around by the time I visit.

weeb answer for me, but asia. i definitely want to visit japan but i'm very interested on visiting south korea. i want to get some uh, work done, and it's cheaper there than the rest.

I think I would be most likely to travel to Oceana first. I live in North America and have never traveled outside of my continent, but I'd love to move to Australia one day.

I'd also really like to visit Asia, but it would be much easier to travel there from Australia. So that would probably be my second destination.

I've never been outside of Europe (and am still in the process of exploring more of Europe lol), but Asia eventually because I really want to visit Japan and South Korea.

Europe first because exciting places over there that I've been wanting to visit and kinda want to live there. Living in the USA is just not for me anymore, kinda wish it was more exciting.

I am highly interested in doing some wildlife volunteer work in Africa and Australia. I also would LOVE to visit northern Europe specifically Northern Sweden or even Finland. I would also love to visit Iceland. Basically anywhere with cool weather. I also want to see the aurora borealis.

I'd love to see Japan but realistically I don't have much of a drive for things like that for quite some time now due to, things. But Japan had such a huge positive impact on me growing up through anime and video games. Japan has also effected much of the world with their technology. I just respect them. Pictures and footage of Japan are very beautiful and interesting.
Others I'd love to see is Ireland and some parts of South America.

I chose Antarctica because penguins. Asia would be my next choice. Japan would be first in Asia, followed by S. Korea and Vietnam

Gonna post because I’m the only NA vote 😤 Americans can take for granted how interesting their country is lol. I do NOT want to live there but for a very very long time I did. There’s such a variety, it’s nuts. Places with cool national parks, places with cool culture, places with cool cities, different climates, etc. the “scope” of the whole country… it’s nuts. I live in Australia and basically it’s split between outback/rural/suburbs/city which is really lame and the inhabited areas are so cramped because so much is just outback instead. This country is really boring. I will visit New Zealand someday which should be relatively super easy for me to do too, New Zealand seems kinda nifty, but it’s tiny. Now Japan would also be really interesting and high up there but it seems too intimidating (and honestly, I’m not a huge weeb, Japan is interesting because it’s a developed/mature country that’s still very exotic without seeming totally removed from certain values), and I definitely want to visit Europe eventually but not as attached to that idea as NA. Except for visiting Italy someday… no matter what a mess it’s become. You guys made Antarctica sound nice. SA and Africa are totally off the table for me, I can’t imagine being treated well there whatsoever.

I'm from Australia, and I'd really like to go back to New Zealand in the near future, so even though I live in Oceania, I picked Oceania. 😅

If all the right plans were in place (i.e. I wouldn't freeze to death), I'd love to go to Antarctica. 🐧

Of course I'd love to go to the Northern Hemisphere at some point too... 😊

I’d pick Europe first, then Australia. I have too many places in Europe that I want need to go visit.

I'd love more than anything to travel through western Europe and Greece!

picked europe.

i'm surprised africa didn't get even 1 vote.

side story:

when my dad was in the navy he had to go to Africa in the late 70s or early 80s before I was born. I'm sure it's not entirely the same now. however, this was his experience. he said egypt was the most dirtiest place he's ever seen in his life to this day.

he said kenya was beautiful, but while in Kenya a Kenyan woman kept trying to hook herself off to him and his friend. they kept saying no, but she kept trying. eventually, they just said they were gay with each other so she'd leave them alone. she came back later trying to hook her son who was probably 9 years old off to them!! the world is a crazy place.

i'd never go to Africa personally. the slave trade still exists there, south africa (an IRL friend was studying abroad there and told me stories) and other countries are extremely unsafe, viruses like ebola, not trying to get hijacked by a hyena or something on a safari. lol no thanks to all of that.
