Completely agree! People only charge what they think they can get.
If they don't end up getting it because people decided not to buy/not to trade, they end up lowering the price to meet a different tier of player. I personally am very picky about what I will pay for something, and what I won't.

Every time I time travel I slap myself on the wrist with a ruler in place of those who would otherwise call me a cheater so I can understand the wrong doing I have committed.

I think people just like to complain. I time traveled to January because I really like snow and wanted to look at it. Am I happy? Yes. Enjoying the game is the only thing that should matter.

i personally don’t have any disdain towards time travellers. i time travelled to june to catch a shark. am i satisfied? yes. people are allowed to do as they please with their game. have an issue with time travel? solution is simple - don’t time travel. don’t expect people not to do something just because you don’t like it lmao

Even if you try to avoid the chaos in this market, you can't really control it. By avoiding it, you heavily restrict yourself in who you can interact with in that market because you don't want to, y'know, give into that chaos and join it.

Before I convinced my cousin to TT she would drop by my island daily because she didnt have Ables or upgraded Nooks Cranny. So i guess for people like me its nice to have more options..?

If you want to discuss and talk about your opinions on time travel, be in discussion in a thread that was created or by creating your own thread, you have to eat an entire large pizza that has pineapple on it.

And if you like that stuff (you weirdo), you have to put two toppings you don't like on it.

That's what I thought too. But I mean, you see people all the time who don't TT asking for Ables and Upgraded Nooks.
But yet get angry at TTers. Doesn't make sense to me.

I'm not really sure why there is such an uproar about TTers. I don't really care how other people play... But, to be fair, I don't really interact with this games er.... "economy"? Places like the boards on here for trading, or the subreddits were people trade. I only trade with my friends/family who are playing New Horizons, specifically so I don't have to deal with the price gouging, the people who want huge entry fees, the people who demand tips.

It's weird people are so hyper focused on calling out TTers when there's people selling in game stuff for real money on E-bay. There's even some Youtuber who is asking REAL MONEY to come to your town to "landscape" and even telling people they need to give them REAL MONEY if they want their island featured on the YouTube channel. WAY WAY worse than TTers.

I mean I see a loooot of posts from people who loathe time traveling above all else
group up. If you're worried you'll miss out on things that time travelers have, it sounds like you want to time travel. Otherwise, get some people willing to trade with you on your terms.

I guess my main issue with it is that I can't have anyone who doesn't conform to my beliefs and thought processes doing better than me. Like, who are THEY to have more stuff and get more enjoyment out of it than me?

Anyone who doesn't play the game the way I do is bad, their parents are bad, their cow is bad, and they should feel bad.

Right, so many people are saying it's cheating- when you can't impose your own way of playing on others then shame them because you can't do the same/don't get the benefits of doing the same. TT or not just play however you want.

super agree! I've seen so many people complain about the economy when it literally depends where you buy it. i get that some things may seem overpriced but you can't shame people for wanting something so badly and the price going up as a result of that.
I've seen so many accused and made fun of for selling things for "high" prices or wanting to buy things for "high" prices when pricing is none of those peoples' business.
