What are the most common island names you’ve seen?

I named my island Eureka, after the science fiction TV show with the same name. I’m pretty sure there’s a lot more like it that I haven’t seen, but I could care less.
There’s probably a lot of islands called “Pen”, because...pen...island... You get the idea.
Ive seen lots of towns named “Lakeview” or something like that.
Also Arcadia but thats a really common post

I honestly hope no one else has Saboria. I literally made it up. It's an oc name I made up. It was that or Galatica but space is over used. I say as I continue to use the theme.

Space is overused?! Noooooooo! My dreams of being original are CRUSHED!

I've seen the theme around quite a bit but I love space so much I incorporate it into my wintery theme. My upstairs room is literally a galaxy room. My dream room ir.

Not to toot my own horn, but I haven't seen another island named, "Tierinsel" yet, but then again that could just be because my contact with the German AC playerbase is limited, and it is a German word that means, "Animal Island". (Tierinsel being the name of my island)

Arcadia is a word for an idyllic, beautiful paradise-like natural landscape/area, with a bit of a mythical vibe to it. So it fits quite well as an island name for a peaceful, fictional island in a video game imo.

Arcadia Bay is also the name of the area where the game Life is Strange is set. I can see people naming their town after that too, the game has a strong connection to its spaciality and the town almost becomes a character in itself. Because of the character limit people probably omit the bay part.

Arcadia is also a region in Greece, it's history and mythology is the basis of the idyllic connotations the word now has. It's a very mountainous, natural area (even more so during antiquity). I am one of the ones guilty of naming my island after it, though I have opted for the non-Latinised spelling (Arkadia) :D

My town name is a tradition going back to city folk. I try to change but Bayside has just stuck and is my special place 😊

I've seen a few variations of utopia, but usually mixed with the persons name. e.g. Megtopia (dont know if I've been to one of that specific name). I've also been to a few Welsh related place names... but I live in Wales so that explains that one

Mine is called Ohana and I'm surprised I haven't come across an island with the same name to be fair.

"Moon" something or other.
I did 5 trades yesterday and every single one has moon in it x3
Pretty sounding tho, but a lot of moons.

I haven't seen a lot of dupes but I do know that there's another person on this forum who named their island Floaroma. I've had that idea for a really long time so I'm p sure they copied me lol :P (I kid)

I've seen corona many times, not just on AC either but on games like call of duty, fortnite etc.. people seem a bit obsessed with something that really damaged the whole world really. Sakura is a pretty cute name I'd have that. Mine is literally DC Island lol which is my initials... I've never been very inventive loool

Has Avalon been mentioned already? I feel like i have visited so many islands with that name :p

Im pretty sure i have the only island with the name of Creyal :p

Moon, Paradise, Neko/Nekojima or Cat related ones. Sakura. I stopped paying attention after a while. I have yet to see another Yarn Isle.

Ah, I had forgotten about the origin! It is a lovely name for a town c:

I named my island Mistfall and although the words can be common, I didn't think there would be another Mistfall. I later found another Mistfall on Twitter and followed them (so they know they aren't the only one with that name 👀) I'm sure there might be a few more tho.
