people who ignore what you e.g write in a conversation and just moves on. um im sorry i hardly write stuff for you to ignore idiot

I notice you senpai. =:O

When I'm wearing headphones and someone keeps trying to talk to me. :U

My grandma, literally, does this, all the time. Also, I'm not on a high horse about cursing or anything, I just don't find it appealing at /all/. I never call anyone on it. Their own choice. Doesn't mean I'm not secretly like 'man, they are cussing a /lot/' lol. Especially around children and such it's like....disrespectful.

When people try to talk to me while I'm eating. It makes me feel rude when I either don't answer them immediately or when I talk with my mouth full.

I hate this. Trying to talk to my co-workers at lunch is the /worst/.

when people give minimum wage workers an exceptionally hard time when they're just doing their job and trying to get by.
body odor/bad grooming.

I'm a cashier at Walmart and I cannot stress this enough.

Also, I've walked into some 7/11's and goodness gracious. It makes me wonder if showering is against a religion and I haven't heard of it yet. xD

I wasn't talking about you, just people who think that cussing = you're and idiot and not cussing = holier than thou.

Anyways, when someone is loudly revving their car/whatever.

Like, no, you're not cool you're just annoying.

-When people refer to a pet owner as the animal's "mommy" or "daddy"
-"My baby is 24 months old"
-Old people who are rude to minimum wage workers
-People who don't cover their mouth while sneezing or coughing
-When people say "yes, but..." or any variation like "I'm not racist, but..." or "I'm not sexist, but..."
-People who are looking for an "easy pet" to take care of
-Fanfiction with no paragraph breaks
-Dads who say they're "babysitting" when taking care of their own children
-Public displays of affection
-"You're in America now! You need to learn proper English!"

- People blasting music from their headphones for the world to hear.
- People constantly abusing texting on their cell phone.
- People hating on something just because it's popular.
- People sneezing on their hands instead of their arm.
- People who talk, bring babies, snore, or use cell phones during movies (yeah, these happen frequently to me).

These are some, but my list is endless.

Yeah and people bringing their poor crying babies everywhere in general. Seriously, get someone to babysit (or your partner) we don't want your kids' snot all over our food.

People who don't watch their bratty kids. I was at a fancy sit-down restaurant and these kids were playing hide-n-seek. They would run beneath the cloth on the tables and one even went into the kitchen. One kid hid under our table and grabbed my leg and started screaming...

Another time at a BJ's, a sit-down restaurant again, there was a party for one little girl and she had about 40 guest children. They destroyed the place. A kid extended his arm and ran across a shelf knocking everything over. There were a ton of balloons and some boys grabbed forks and started popping them. We left without ordering because our waitress kept ignoring us/rushing over to stop/serve them.

And no, your kid is not a "special little angel".

+ i can't stand when people make more noise than necessary while eating.
+ people who don't wash their hands regularly.
+ when someone stands incredibly close to your face. (it's just gross and i can feel your spit and breath entering my space.)

- People sneezing on their hands instead of their arm.

i hate when they sneeze into their arm too, because what happens when they hug someone / make contact with their arms?
i was taught in the medical field to lift your shirt collar and sneeze into your chest ( for me my scrubs).

You read that wrong. I hate it when people sneeze into their hands because that is the number one form of contact people use throughout the day. I think it's better to sneeze on your arm so you're not touching everything with your germs.

When people including my friends accidentally brush against me while we're standing next to each other- I just start raging and wanting to throw them off a cliff 0u0 Like..I just don't want to interact with other people in any way a majority of the time. Also when people judge me thinking they know everything, yet they know nothing about my past and present life

Others:
- Girls with greasy hair flipping their hair every ten sec in class while I'm sitting behind them thinking they look "cute" ._. I feel like this is just me though
- People with terrible odor/breath and stand on my breathing range
- These questions : "Are you okay?" "Are you depressed?" "Isn't it boring being by youself?" No shut up, I just hate society and enjoy being alone away from people. k? k.
- People who couch/sneeze without covering their mouths.

when people use the word "raw" to describe the weather.
we have a weatherman on our local news that whenever its cold outside, he says "its raw outside." and every time he says it, i want to punch his multi-million dollar face. its not f***ing RAW outside. its cold.

There is a huge difference between "cold" and "raw". Cold is cold. Raw is mind-numbingly cold that it's absolutely bitter and any exposed skin hurts

  • People texting on their phone while they're walking. Not only your pace drops down to 50% but my patience as well.
  • Uncontrollable children in public.
  • My mum's unrealistic expectations on her family.
  • People stopping in the middle of the shopping centre/pathway/etc. rather than moving away to the side and have their conversation. I don't care if you haven't seen Jim for 20 years I have places to go man.
  • Forcefully hugged by someone I know just to get a kick out of seeing my reaction.
  • Small talks.
  • People asking (pretty common) questions when they can just search it up on Google themselves.

People spending too much time on their phones during group outings. I also really hate the way one of my friend yawns to be funny, basically making this weird caveman yell. Certain sounds just get under my skin, I think I'm kinda sensitive to sound.

  • When someone puts their dirty dishes in the sink shortly after I've loaded the dishwasher. I'm trying to get a new rule set in the house where the first person who does that has to do all the dishes and pots.
  • People who text, talk on their cellphones (without bluetooth), eat/drink, or take their hands off the wheel when they drive.
  • When I go out with someone and they can't be bothered to either turn off or not answer their cellphone; leave the work with work, your other friends to themselves (unless it's an emergency), and pay attention to the company you're with!
  • People who walk in a group and feel the need to take up the entire area in places like supermarkets (especially those with wagons).
  • People who walk their dogs at night with no flashlight and can't be bothered to wear a reflective vest or even something white; it's impossible to see them while driving unless their dog is white or until you're on top of them.
  • People who walk in the middle of the street.
  • People who don't look before crossing the street, or bother to wait for a car to back out of a spot. Pedestrians have the right of way, but not every driver is going to stop (or see them).
  • People who sneeze/cough into their hands, or don't cover their mouths/noses at all. Seriously, I'll see little kids cover their noses/mouths, but watch adults walk through a store and sneeze or cough without covering.

...I'm actually the sort of person who doesn't get annoyed or angry easily, despite the long list. XD
Course, I have major annoyances, but since pet peeves are minor annoyances, I'm not going to list them.

ppl who dont know what a pet peeve is my biggest pet peeve like half of the things in this thread arent even pet peeves

Alright, normally I'm pretty relaxed and nothing really bothers me. However, after being in retail for 4 years, 3 as a cashier, I have some thing that bug the daylights out of me:

  • Being on the phone while conducting face-to-face business. Now, I can understand it perfectly well if its something that you HAVE to do for your own business and it's related to what's happening. However, if its "Hey, ______, where should we go out to eat?"...NO!
  • Leaving your cart RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WALKWAY after your done with it. I mean you have to walk past the inside corrals as you're walking out!
  • "Item Stuffing" - Now I'm not talking about stuffing them on your person, but rather 'Oh, I decided I didn't want X so I'll shove it here in the candies
  • Parents who don't control their kids or, even more annoying, kids that control their parents.

I'm sure I'll come up with more to add later, but that's my biggest peeves.

People that dont wash dishes properly... leaving gross residue. I want to kick them in the shin.
And also having to interact with bigots. It's very tiring.
