So, just a thing where we all share something we liked, or something that appeals to us (if we haven't played it) in that particular game

(Never played the following games, but have watched videos on them)
GC (all versions): The gameboy minigames, the island, the NES games, I feel like Farley returning may have potential

WW: Some of the exclusive holidays/events seemed fun, learning NPC backstories, the observatory

CF: The whole travelling to the city idea, NPC backstory episodes

HHD: Seemed like a nice change of pace. Hope there’s more spin-offs like it in the future, perhaps where the main character is just someone doing a job role with a nice storyline

(Have played)
NL: The parts that went back to it’s roots/refrences to the old game. It was my first game and i just knew/guessed that Rover referenced the original at the beginning, for some reason. The tree and it’s music, shame New Leaf doesn’t have somewhere your character can sit and remember past events

NH: The dodos. Not only are they fun, and actually a nice change from dodos being dumb in media. It sort of implies other extinct animals like the Tasmanian tiger, for example are alive somewhere, the sapient ones, at least. The more choices in clothes changes, the villagers not moving out without permission, more variety in tools (I’d understand the ones the character crafts breaking, to show they aren’t perfect, or maybe an explanation that maybe the printed/designed ones are weaker for some reason. With the golden ones being unbreakable) glowing moss

PP: Clothing variety and the whole camp concept is alright (Never really got into it. Can hardly remember what my character looked like or what her name was)

HHP: The sweet storyline, spending time with NPCs, Wilbur during DJ K.K.s events

Mainline Games
AC:GC:

- The semiannual sports fairs!

- Strong villager personalities.

- The balls and bringing them for villagers.

AC:WW:
- This game and City Folk generally has my favorite hourly music

- I love how villager pictures are actually handled like a "You're my best friend" item. I am glad they are in NL and NH, but they are not implemented as well

- The villagers have a good balance of salt and sugar. For example, cranky villagers are still very much cranky, but they can be really sweet and heartwarming.

AC:CF:
- Catching a villager's key from the river is a fun quest.

- I think it is cute that a villager can get you an invite to Redd's

AC:NL:
- So many possibilities for exterior house customization and there are even some options for renovating the town hall and train station. I LOVE IT!

- This game introduced two of my favorite furniture sets, rococo and mermaid, the former of which can be refurbished to be pink and white, one of my favorite color schemes. 🤍🩷 Furniture and interior decorating in this game is absolute PEAK! On the topic of refurbishing, I also love how I can have Cyrus change my regal furniture to have pink trim, rather than the default yellow trim.

- Even if the villagers' personalities are watered down and feel robotic, they can be very heartwarming.

- Mayorhood and having gorgeous PWPs to choose from.

- Perfect fruit!

- Lots of favors to do for villagers!

- TORTIMER'S ISLAND!

- The holidays are so fun in this game!

AC:NH:
- Being able to relocate houses and buildings.

- Being able to place furniture outside.

- Terraforming.

- Having an indicator on your Crittipedia to tell you if you donated a certain creature.

- Giving villagers gifts in-person.

- Cheering villagers up when they are sad or angry.

- The graphics are a major step up from previous installments. I especially appreciate the creatures having a more realistic look to them and the museum is absolutely stunning!

Spin-offs
AC:HHD:

- Not much to say able this or PC(C), as these are just spin-offs, but being able to freely decorate villagers' houses and yards is so fun! This is also in AC:NH as HHP, but the furniture just isn't as fun in that game.

AC-PC(C):
- This game has furniture and even creatures that haven't been in any mainline games yet. I hope these things get added in Animal Crossing for Switch 2!
