Do you guys believe violence is the way to go when you want to resolve an issue?

I say no.
You can easily resolve problems by talking it out and without the use of violence.
But unfortunately we're humans. So apparently injuring others is the only solution.

unless the other person is rock-headed and wont try to work to resolve the problem, sometimes its the only way
the only thing is no one learns anything afterwards

I actually think it is, in past you wanna eat u wanna fight now u wanna hav respect u wanna fight
What the *censored.3.0* does that even mean?
Translation:
When you want to eat you have to fight for it.
When you want respect you have to fight for it.

In my opinion, causing fights means you lose respect.

I see that, but thats in the past, here, we're supposed to be more "Civilizied" (Spelled right?)

But Violence can only be used in a defense way... Unless there's another reason?

I have problems with a few kids at my school
one bullied me from grades 1-4, but never really scrapped with me. He moved in Grade 4 and now is back. On his first day back I almost got in a fight with him, and expect one on monday/tuesday
Some kids at my school are block headed and can't resolve their problems without violence
But I guess I am a violent person, mainly because I'm somewhat sensitive and when I try to confront someone I end up bawling

I think there is always an alternative option instead of using violence. But unfortunately, sometimes it is the only way when it comes to dealing with hard-headed people that don't care about peaceful resolutions.

No, violence is wrong. Violence shows that you're too stupid to attempt diplomacy.
I believe violence is ok in self defense from an unprovoked attacker. This goes for individuals as well as nations.

Well, if the person initiated violence on you first, then yes.
You can't just say "Please stop" while the person's pounding your face or something.

sometimes its the only way...
and i agree with dj, i can be a way to obtain respect
when applied in the right circumstances

Violence is never the way to solve problems. I only think it should be used if you or your loved ones are in danger.

depends on the situation if its really really bad like bulling i use self-defence but if a kid teases me no ill just walk away
