To those who don’t have a Switch 2

I will tell you what’s the most bothersome part about Nintendo’s decision to brick any consoles that were hacked or used unauthorized software. Nintendo put in their agreements that you cannot sue them for doing that. This is ridiculous.

I wonder if they’re going to start banning Nintendo accounts and consoles owned by people who publicly criticize them for criticizing their bad business decisions.

I believe Nintendo have bricked consoles for playing used games other people have illegally copied.

Also the game key cards and joycon drift still existing are a deal breaker for me.

probably as soon as AC6 is announced, or like a couple of months before release

I'm really surprised to see so many people that don't want to buy a Switch 2 - but there are lots of valid points. I will be honest and say that the second Animal Crossing is announced for the Switch 2... It's over. I may even just buy the Switch 2 for the new Pokemon game. Or Pokopia, if I really lose my self control haha

As tempting as Switch 2 exclusive games sound (Pokopia, Pokemon Winds/Waves), I most likely won't be getting one until Nintendo comes out with a different color variant of the console ;v; I just don't like the black/gray aesthetic. If they come out with a white version then I might get that since I highly doubt they'll bring back regular colored joy-cons. (Heck just before the switch 2 was announced, I had gotten the pastel purple/green joy-cons!)

I'm quite sure it's going to be never. I only bought the first Switch so I could play ACNH. To this day it's one of the only games I own on it so that seems pretty wasteful and not something I'd like to repeat. Especially since I don't even play video games that much anymore.

At the moment I am holding out for a special edition copy of the Switch 2 because so help me if I end up buckling and buying a regular boring black one and then they release something like a Kirby themed Switch 2 I will cry Pokopia wasn't enough for me to justify buying the console, but Animal Crossing might be just enough to tip the scales for me to get one. Hopefully though there's going to be a special edition or two that will come out before it

I think the only thing that would maybe make me want to buy a Switch 2 is Splatoon. Splatoon Raiders would have to be really good though. I would also want to wait for a Splatoon special edition; I'm kinda bummed I never got the Splatoon 3 Switch.
