I do it alot. It’s not to make bells or anything like that. Just mainly to order from catalog , move buildings around. I keep within The same month though.
When I get too close to the end of the month, I travel back to day 1.

I don’t personally time travel unless I’m moving in an Amiibo villager, but I have a few friends that do and it’s a lot of fun to take advantage of their TT! I’m tempted to do it more often, especially since fall and winter are my favourite seasons, but I feel like it would be more rewarding to move into them naturally as the seasons change.

That being said, I will always come over and buy fall clothes from Ables if you invite me. I love warm toned, natural coloured clothing 🥰 (not these bright pastel summer clothes...)

I time travel since I work a lot, I wouldn't get anywhere if I didn't skip ahead a few days every now and then. I'm also just really impatient when it comes to moving buildings and stuff.

I was planning on playing it without time travel but I gave in to get rid of that wedding plate.

Now I time travel for the moving buildings and building structures and to move the thought bubble from one villager to another. I got tried of the bubble not moving to a villager I want to kick out and I don't have motivation to terraform if I have to wait for things to move that day.

It's nice to have if you missed an important day of gameplay (for instance, I didn't play at all this past Saturday during the Bug-Off but I was able to set the clock back one day and at least check it out so that was p cool). Though I don't do it all the time, especially in a town that I just started within a year or so.

Does the wedding plate eventually go away? I noticed that a lot of my villagers got it after I used them in a wedding setup and I really don't want them to have it in their houses lol

I personally don't time travel, but I don't mind if others do!
I did time travel on my sister's island though, to get some Celeste DIYs.

For me: I know that if I start, I'll probably never play normally again and it'll burn me out too fast. I like spending a few hours daily and taking things one day at a time!
Also I'd feel bad if I didn't talk to some of my villagers daily ywy);; I don't want them to miss me _( :3_)L

I did it this weekend for the first time to kick a villager out, built my whole island without it.. But I almost immediately felt disconnected to the game so it's unlikely I'll do it again

I don't like spoiling whole seasons for myself, but I will time travel a day or so if I wanna complete a project faster. I'll also time travel if a rare NPC shows up and I want to take advantage of that. I'm currently going a day forward then a day back so I can order bug models from Flick. It's helping me get what I need for a future butterfly garden while simultaneously cleaning my storage.

I don't care about time traveling. I used to do it in previous Animal Crossing games. I did it in New Horizons to catch up with the last missing week, and honestly, I was feeling burnt out by doing it. I just prefer not to do it anymore.

I time travel a lot to get seasonal items and when I move buildings, and kick out some villagers. I think the most I’ve time traveled is to 2021 for a villager, and I dont think it really matters if people tt though

Oh god I regretted inviting most of my villagers to the party after the fact. Who displays a plate of two random strangers? I loved Harv's reaction.

I used to travel a bunch in New Leaf because I would do like five or six days at once. I haven’t done in yet in New Horizons because I wanted to stay on the same date with my fiancé

i’ve only done it a handful of times for new horizons and it definitely comes in handy! i don’t get why some people are so against others who do it - if you personally don’t want to do it, that’s completely fine, but let people have their fun ;u;

i’ve done it to boot out villagers and once tt’d to june because i wanted to catch a Shark so there’s no regrets over here lmaoo

I occasionally TT whenever Redd comes (aka literally TWICE Redd please come back) since I don't want to wait 5 billion years to finish my art museum lol.
Also I appreciate all the ppl who do TT, bc that means I can get art, seasonal DIYs, mom's items, etc. so much more easily lol

I've time traveled in every Animal Crossing game I've played since the GameCube game. It's my preferred style of play.

When New Horizons launched, I actually set my start date to be in February instead of March so I could give myself a head start, since in the past games, I'd be playing multiple in-game days per real world day. I spent some time with that, then ended up skipping around to get to the lead up to Bunny Day so as not to miss out. I ended up in sync with the real time for a while, not wanting to get too far ahead of any potential updates Nintendo would release. Then the wedding event and my plans to create more characters saw me ending up setting my days back a bit so as to maximize how many wedding items I could get.

As such, I've gone from using it, to not using it, to using it again. Since I'm back to using it again currently, I voted for the "Awesome! I use it all the time!" option on the poll. It's not to the same degree as the previous games due to the patch and update method of adding new events and items that Nintendo's utilizing with this game, but I feel like I've found my comfortable niche for this game and will probably stick with it.

I only started time traveling when I was done decorating my island and was pretty much just doing daily chores. Decided to do it to complete the museum, Celeste DIYs and Gulliver’s items. One rule I have is not to use it to spoil future events/seasons so now I just use it to move villagers.
