I do tt but not often. in past games I did it a lot more than in this game. For me it's mostly same day but different time, like if I can't play til night but i need to catch daytime only bugs/fish or something like that. I do like that there is no risk of losing your villagers in this version but I do wish we could still do it in game rather than altering the system clock(i only did it in game in the past). I've mostly only done it in nh to get more art from redd since he rarely shows up and i did it to get the diys from celeste cause i'm tired of having to look for her(i do still need most of the zodiac ones but im ok with that cause i only have to worry about finding her once a month now). i also used it when i was trying to get the bubble to jump to a certain villager but only after two weeks of everybody getting it but him without tting.

To each their own, I say! I don't TT, but I won't judge those who do. My only rule is I only want items/recipes available to me currently, which means not trading for out-of-season items or recipes.

I was totally against doing it but didn't care if others did.... until I started wanting to move out certain villagers to get the ones I really wanted. That was when I decided to try it out. I was so scared the first time I did it! Turns out it isn't a big deal at all. I still only use time traveling to move villagers out, because I prefer to play the game at the speed it was intended.

Play the way you want, I have no issue with time travellers- it doesn't harm anyone and they have paid for their copy of the game, they should play the way they get the most enjoyment out of.

I'm not going to time travel, but I don't mind others doing it as long as it doesn't harm anyone. Simple as that.

It used to be " Awesome! I use it all the time!" in new leaf, but it became "I don't care if others do it, but I prefer not to" in new horizons. It is likely just a matter of time before i start doing it again, though. We will see!

I don't personally tt because I'm worried I'll accidentally wreck my game, but idc if others do. It's just another way to play the game.

TT doesn’t harm anyone. Idc if others do it. The only thing I dislike about TT is that TTers spoiled the seasonal fish, bugs, and DIYs less than a week after release. Which is why I kinda like the planned updates :p

IMO TT does make the game worse and less fun (except for the beginning of the game).

I chose that I don’t really like it, but I still think it has its uses. If I had to miss an event for some reason, I’d definitely utilize it without feeling bad.

I personally only time travel when I want to move certain villagers out, because I really love hunting for new villagers.

Otherwise I don’t, but I don’t care if others do. People can play however they want.

It's a necessity at times.

And it's always been a part of AC, hence the time traveler rumor in NL.

People have their reasons for time traveling, it's not my business. It doesn't suit my play style so I never do it

The first months I didn't time travel at all... but one night I missed shopping because I couldn't log in during the day and turned the clock a couple hours back. Then I got impatient because I needed to move some buildings around, and traveled a few days to move things around, invite amiibos, etc... and well now I do it all the time. I don't travel too far ahead (a few days at most) and I haven't done any events beforehand (I did turn the clock back a bit the day of the bugoff otherwise I wouldn't have had time.)

I think it's fine... and I don't know if I'd call it cheating... but people who time travel have a clear advantage. If you play 5 days in the time someone else plays one, you get many more items from shopping, you get more hybrids, you get more npc visits, more diys, and you do more in less time. I mean it's not hacking, but it is a "cheat."

The rule I usually make for myself is that I'll set it back to the right date & time before I go to bed so I can start at the right date when I get up.

I've done it to open up plots a day faster so I could adopt a villager, but otherwise I prefer not to do it because I like the slower pace and it kind of messes with the immersion for me. That said, I don't mind if others do it.

I did it for finishing the Critterpedia, but now I don't do it. Everything else I'd prefer to experience day-by-day, at the usual pace.

Honestly each to their own. I do it because some days I don’t get to play so others I feel like I’m catching up. Also when terraforming , moving buildings, building bridges etc I need to know how it looks once move. I’m way too impatient and when I start a project I really struggle to put my switch down until it feels ‘complete’

However I’ve restrained from time travelling too far, I’ve not experienced fall or winter because I want to experience them in real time!
