Since someone started a makeup thread, let's talk about something that truly angers me...makeup shaming.
I've noticed two main types of makeup shaming:
1) Shaming someone for wearing makeup the "wrong" way (i.e. orange foundation)
2) Shaming someone for wearing makeup...period ("this is why I have trust issues!!!")
And honestly, I just do not care in the slightest how people choose to wear their makeup. If they want to wear ten layers of foundation that is way darker than their real skin, fine! If you don't like to wear makeup at all, that's fine too!
I just think that makeup is a form of art and expression, and just because I don't personally like a particular style doesn't mean that it's a "bad" style and that no one should wear it. And yeah, in my head I'm probably thinking that their makeup looks awful, but I'm not going to say it to their face because it's none of my business and if that's what makes them feel beautiful, who am I to tell them they're wrong?
Anyway, what do you guys think of this?
