* I've recently gotten back to AC:NL, and made a new town and character etc.
But today I noticed something kind of strange, I think it might be a bug?

I've had A LOT OF luck getting very valuable stuff, I've caught about 5+ golden stags in a short period of time, even if they are rare, and I've also caught a few whale sharks in a short period of time..

I read about luck in AC:NL earlier today, but nothing said anything about this.

Is it a bug or am I just REALLY lucky?

I don't think golden stags and whale sharks are rare. I catch them all the time.

I'm glad you're having such a lucky day.

One time, I caught three stringfish in about 15 minutes. Everytime I walked across my bridge, a stringfish was there. I was broke, so it was a great day for me.

I had a great night at the island yesterday! Golden stags tend to appear more often than normal, and sharks too.
I didn't really have much luck with sharks tbh, don't seem to see them very often on my island,
but maybe it's because I'm too focused with the beetles too

Nice! I always thought the feng shui had a thing to do with how lucky you are in the game, so I'm always trying to get the colored items in the correct corner as much as possible. But I hope you continue to have such luck as you continue building your new town!

I don't think it's a bug c: I have days like that pretty often where I'll catch tons of golden stags and like 5 whale sharks in one trip to the island. I would way consider yourself extra lucky and take advantage of it while it lasts!

Sometimes the golden stags and valuable bugs seem to come in waves. It's awesome.
