THEORY: Brewster in an autumn update

Firstly, hello. I took a month long break from ACNH as I got a bit burned out (i get burned out/bored super easily haha). Im back into it now!
I haven't been involved in TBT for a while because of this and so im sorry if this has already been discussed or something like that.

But, if swimming is added as a summer update, surely if they plan to add brewster it'll be in some sort of autumn update? People normally associate coffee with autumn-vibes, right?
I personally really hope the cafe is added! I loved it in new leaf

I think it's a good theory and I hope you're correct. I think it would be really cute if they did add it back in the Autumn just so that during Autumn and Winter we can hang out with our villagers and have a hot drink on the colder looking days.

Now Pumpkin Spice is what gets associated with autumn vibes.

I think he might be coming with the August update, because I think if the Farming/Cooking Datamine is true, they'll want that in time for the Harvest Festival holiday. I think it'd be really cool if you made your own meals for that holiday. I think the earliest they'd put it in is September, that way everyone has time to build a farm, and maybe even get pumpkins ready in time for Halloween.

I was also thinking that today. Another reason Brewster could be coming in the autumn update is because of gyroids. As his cafe in the past has featured them before. I reckon they’ll be introduced together. Because gyroids are found after rainy days I don’t think they’ll be introduced in summer/winter as there is little to no rain whereas in spring and autumn there generally is rain.
Nintendo isn’t going to release a lot of new features each update as they’ll run out of features and people will probably get bored. They’ll drip feed new things to us.

your theory makes sense. But I can't help but want Brewster sooner, I miss the conjurer of coffee, as Blathers referred to him in New Leaf. Brewster has been one of my favorite characters for years and I just really miss him.

Having the cafe on NL was cute, but working for Brewster was so tedious. I hope it's better and more interesting this time round.

My fall predictions: Most likely we will get Brewster in September and possibly growing vegetables. October is Halloween season. November is Harvest festival. We will get veggies before the Harvest festival (possibly even in Sept) and do something with them like make food recipes like pumpkin pie.

That's how I feel too, it wouldn't have been a summer update cause a hot cup of coffee on a hot day doesn't seem too nice. I also feel (and hope) the dream suite will appear in a winter update because that's when hibernation takes place and by then everyone who started on release date would have a well developed town. If not maybe spring? Idk, I really want the dream suite lol..

His arrival would definitely be a fit for autumn. And it would be in Nintendo’s interest to postpone that update to a point where general interest in the game has slowed down some more, so it can breathe new life into the game, since it’s probably the most hyped update. Autumn seems to be the right moment now we have another big feature returning tomorrow.

I hope they add an option for iced coffee too. It would make sense given how popular it's gotten and the villagers already walk around with cold drinks w/ straws so yeah.

It'd also give Brewster some fun dialogue since he would always get upset if you wanted to let your coffee cool down before you drank it.

What Brewster made seasonal drinks like Japanese-café style ice cream in the summer? Maybe a sakura drink in the spring?

lol i'm currently drinking hot black coffee while it's 90 degrees IRL so he can come any day but i love this theory and i hope you're right! i miss him so. i'm wondering this far in if we will get any updates that require adding buildings to our islands. it feels so vast and empty right now.

Some people think he'll come back in autumn along with the gyroids, but tbh I'd rather get the dream suite back.
