THEORY: Brewster in an autumn update

People want Brewsters in the August update but honestly I think it would work much better if he were added in the fall

lol i'm currently drinking hot black coffee while it's 90 degrees IRL so he can come any day but i love this theory and i hope you're right! i miss him so. i'm wondering this far in if we will get any updates that require adding buildings to our islands. it feels so vast and empty right now.

you might be right or maybe he’ll be added in the august update? i just don’t see nintendo adding him in the middle of summer so here’s hoping he’ll be apart of the august update or any update that comes afterward ^_^

Yup I can totally see that. I don't know why people are getting so worked up that *insert character* is "not in the game" (right now) because Nintendo literally said there will be notable updates for at least the first year after the game is released. So far we have gotten Redd, Leif, and now Pascal, and I'm sure others will come later. We just need to be patient lol

His arrival would definitely be a fit for autumn. And it would be in Nintendo’s interest to postpone that update to a point where general interest in the game has slowed down some more, so it can breathe new life into the game, since it’s probably the most hyped update. Autumn seems to be the right moment now we have another big feature returning tomorrow.

the summer update definitely got me interested in the game again after my month hiatus so i have no doubt that his arrival will with others too!

A lot of people have been suggesting that, and it makes sense, but I'm really hoping it's the late summer one BUT, I mean, I'm also 100% okay with them surprising me with something cool I wasn't expecting in that one... I just can't think of what else they might add then!

I had the exact same theory! They seem to be introducing characters and events that fit the seasons, so I would assume that Brewster would return in autumn, or maybe in winter but autumn is more likely imo.

I think autumn would be a good time for Brewster. I just hope we don't have to wait until winter for him.
