Ok, first profile post got 8 fairy dust, second none

You have to wait some time before posting again on profiles or you don't get any dust. None of us have been able to figure out the exact time though.

The strange thing is, I keep trying to stay active but it’s like the fairy dust has been frozen for me. Is the only so much you can get at a time?

There do seem to be cooldowns for most activities, although I don't think anyone's figured out anything exact (and there might even be an element of randomness to it). If you notice you're not getting much dust anymore, it might be a good idea to do something else for a bit and then come back. ^^

Yeah it’s really tough, just thinking of things to say or talk about. I have 6 dust atm I’m trying to figure out how to get better amounts. But posts are probably one of the better ways to accumulate pixie dust

Yes as others have mentioned, there is a tricky cooldown effect so we can't spam a lot of dust at once. But you can get more dust if you vary the things you do when you log in. Voting in polls, visiting and posting on a profile, reacting to posts, having submissions accepted, posting in a thread, viewing a thread....

And I really hope they post the way it was set up when it's over, lol.

I think it’ll be rosewater vs rosewater. Rosewater vs tickets would be more interesting, though.

After seeing Round 7 in Mysteries of the Monoliths I'm a bit more interested in the tickets Serena's has than I was earlier today. I really hope we can unlock everything for Serena so that we can start working on Farley's goals soon.

I think the cooldown affects all activity overall (rather than just within a category) -- after a certain number of activities are complete, no additional activities seem to net points again until time has passed. So if you wait an hour between making posts but in the middle, have given reactions + voted in polls, it might not count the newest post towards dust. Might be wrong though, but that seems to be what's happening for me.

I always get the most points the first time I participate in forum activities for the day, it looks like.

Might just be coincidence though.
