I was super excited when i found out my nearest McDonalds was participating in the relay street pass. Even though I dont particularly like their food, this was still a big enough incentive for me to go. I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and an unsweetened ice tea. The screen had the item wrong and I asked the employee to fix it and he only made it worse. After about 5 minutes of going back and forth, he told me he had it correctly and pull up even though the display said otherwise. I then pull around to pay and they hand me a receipt and I notice that somehow i was charged for 2 drinks (neither of which was what i ordered) and a double quarter pounder. The whole time this was going on, i had my 3DS pressed up against my window hoping that something will register. I FINALLY get my order straightened out when I speak to the manager and while i was waiting, i noticed two separate cars bringing back their order of food into the restaurant. Apparently this has been happening to other people too. She didn't even address the issue of overcharging me and slipped an order of fries into my bag for free (which were left untouched) but at this point I just want to leave. Finally when i get home, I noticed nothing registered for the relay...... my heart was broken and my spirit was crushed.

I officially hate McDonalds and for now on I'll take my chances with Starbucks.

Yeah, I can see how it would be quite the ordeal (I never set foot in anything fast food) and I tried driving around in gridlock traffic to see if that would do anything but that didn't work. I didn't even know Starbucks has the relay stations, seems like a good option!(:

There is a starbucks within walking distance to my house. I might just have to suck it up and go in and order something. I'm not sure if drive through works (considering my ordeal with mcdonalds)

I don't know if you have to connect to the wifi or what, you'd think it would stretch out to the drive thru, I've heard that the range is sixty feet, but I don't think that's true.

Yeah next time i'll have to linger around a bit and make sure I get a pass

Drive thru probably wouldn't work because the router usually has just enough power to work within the building. I don't mind McDonald's, I just don't usually have the extra money to go.

I used to love their fruit and walnut salad but they canceled it. Mcdonalds isn't too expensive if you stick to the dollar menu. That was my favorite thing to eat at any fast food. They do have good coffee though.

McDonald's coffee is pretty good :) I like their breakfast too! Maybe I'll hit up my McDonald's...it's pretty close.

It's too expensive when bills are four months behind and you are living paycheck to paycheck.
